Good for you ❤️ Did you have an online account?

Yes, I do. Surprisingly I didn't know anything until I got an USPS email and saw a letter from USCIS. I checked my online account right away. Apparently it's been scheduled since last week.

Some questions!

Does anyone know if Buffalo NY ever offers a same day oath ceremony?

Is there somewhere I can find out about interview-oath timelines? Where is the tracker?

I got my civics/English interview invitation for Sept 17 (was originally April 13 but descheduled due to COVID). I don’t think I really belong here since my case was delayed (I had to reschedule my biometrics because I was in labour at the time! And then I moved and transferred my case). But anyway this is the group I’m in.

Good luck all!

Hello everyone,

My wife got her Green card through our marriage 5 years ago. Technically, she was eligible to apply for US Citizenship 2 years ago...But, we procrastinated. Now, we decided to apply this month.

While applying, we noticed under eligibility that we can either select one of following

1. Permanent Resident for 5 years OR

2. Permanent Resident for 3 years and married to US Citizen spouse.

I'm wondering which option should we select ?

She should apply under permanent Resident for 5 years. Less paperwork as you don't have to worry about proof of marriage.

Same here but LA,  can we push our cases somehow? I think it’s not fair because some people even from 2020 got their citizenships already from different states and some people  like US still waiting almost a year or more and still nothing 🤬

I  agree with you. It's totally not fair at all. We paid money, we didn't waive the fee. But we've been waiting for a long long long time. I sent the message every month at online account. They replied automatically contents. I feel very upset.
