Hi Amadia - Thanks for the update. I was worried about these delays with passport. This is positive news.

It is positive, right!

I mean we've had COVID-19, murder hornets and riots....at least we can catch a break with getting our US passports when that time comes 😂

Yes I agree. I am bit worried when I would get my Naturalization certificate and Passport back when I apply now. I was hoping for expedited option open but that is phase 3. I wonder if after applying for passport (regular), I can apply for expedited option later.

Some of us still waiting on interview to get scheduled

I understand....I am one of them but it does not mean everything has to be negative. The peace of mind is knowing that by the time we get done with the Naturalization process, we would not have another lengthy wait for getting our US passports.

I guess I look at the upside of things.

I get it....this process is a pain point for me and understandably frustrating for so many others going thru the waiting and the unknowns from USCIS. 🤗  🤗. 🤗

Ok y'all! After congratulating those who received a call from USCIS office, I went to check mine on their website, just in case!

Lo and behold, they had reschedule me for the oath ceremony for Tuesday June 30th! At 11:30am!

Glad this lengthy process is almost done!!

Hi ..... please if I may ask, did you request for name name change ??? I was scheduled for oath swearing on March 30th. But it was rescheduled for the obvious reason. I see schedules trickling in for Chicago filers but I feel because I requested for a name change I may not be lucky to get my schedule soon since I have to swear in don’t order a judge.

A friend had her Naturalization yesterday while I am still waiting for mine to be scheduled. So I called the military help line and, because it's been more than 90 days from my interview, they agreed to send a service request to my local office. Now I have to wait 15 to 30 days for their answer. Just wanted to share in case anyone is in the same situation. Even though I couldn't submit and inquiry in the website, they did it through the phone.

Did you apply through military service?

No. I am spouse of an AD military. What it means is that I go through the same process as everyone else, except in case he has overseas orders, which is not the case. The only advantage for me is that I can use the Military help line.
