I called uscis from the same reason. They automatically send new extension if previous expire

I was told a new extension letter cannot be sent once the first expires (the letter still states it extends the green card date another letter would expire at the same time as the first since the green card expiration date does not change). The next option is to get a stamp in your passport. That's what I was told and that's what I did. So now my stamp expires in 2021. My green card expired in 2018.

Just sharing what I was told and what my experience was. Didn't say that's not what you were told.

I know. That's how suppose to be, but they do not do info passes anymore.

They don't do infopass online anymore you have to call their contact center and request an appointment. This is something I did this year during COVID closures even. So only a few weeks ago. When I asked about the letter they said they don't send a second letter I'll need a stamp. So I got an appointment within two days or requesting it.

You usually have to be within 30 days of the letter expiring for them to give you a stamp or since you a military, might have other reasons why you need it earlier.

Here's the number:

USCIS Contact Center. Dial 800-375-5283

(for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability: TTY 800-767-1833)

When is your oath scheduled for Chicago? When did you attend your interview?

Chicago filer here waiting for oath.

Any info on what the oath procedure is?

Their timeline shows Feb 24 as their interview date. Oath ceremony instructions are in the letter USCIS sends out.
