Had my interview this morning at the Chicago office. The entire interview/Civic test and all was less than 15 minutes.

And I was approved on the spot (see attached document).

I was scheduled for 8:35AM. I got there earlier than that, around 7:30AM. And they Called/interviewed me before 8AM.

I wish the rest of you all a successful smooth interview process

Hello Marko, Any update on the interview schedule? When did you call last time to inquire about the interview schedule?

Not yet. I emailed them on Monday. They said that my case is in Chicago field office. They are going to contact me about next step in my naturalization process.  So, should be 30 days since Mil Natz office reach them with my background checking record. They reached them on February 11th. But nothing happened  yet . However, I am going on active duty for couple weeks then I won't be able for an interview. What about you?

The process is only finalized once Naturalization certificate is in hand. US passport comes after 🙂

I had the I-751 and n-400 combo interview today and was approved on the spot!

It is worth mentioning that I brought the documents related to a traffic ticket I had even though the fee was less than $500, and the Officer made copies and attached to my case, saying it is not something she usually requires, but even though the documentation for this type of offense if not required, it is up to the discretion of the officer. So if you had any traffic offenses, bring every document, letter, receipt with you in case they ask for it.

Also, my spouse is Active Duty and I take advantage of the MSRRA, so I didn't have the ID from the state of the jurisdiction. The Officer got a little confused about that and was telling me that I would have to get a local state ID and submit it before she made the approval, but in the end she clarified it with her supervisor and said I didn't need to do that and I will be able to use my out of state ID in the oath ceremony.

Just waiting for the oath ceremony to be scheduled now.

Good luck to y'all!

Plenty of Americans vote without ever having/getting a passport.

Will have my oath ceremony tomorrow morning.

Fully expect to be able to register to vote tomorrow at the ceremony.

If not, when at Department of Motor Vehicles.

Planning to apply for the passport next week.

My estimated completion time was showing April 2020, and estimated wait time about 20 days. All of a sudden, that feature disappeared from my USCIS website. Does any one have any thoughts? I hope this will not mean additional processing times.
