@JMPMhello sir

need some help

For a sponsor do they consider current individual income or 2018 taxable income.

My husband has a household of 8. his current individual income is $56000 and his taxable income in 2018 was $45000apprx.

I'm not sure about sponsors. I'm sorry I don't want you waiting for an answe I can't give right now. I did the ez version. I should read more on the income stuff but it's difficult now with work ramping up on high season. (hospitality can be crazy during convention season)

They’ll look at both but I think current income is what they care about most. That’s why it’s important to include current and recent pay stubs

Hey!

Anyone else who still has issues accessing CEAC and uploading documents? I haven't been able to upload anything, since Friday.

Unfortunately maintenance work is still currently ongoing...

Would it be a bad thing looking for work, whilst we go through NVC process...? I mean, I know I can’t actually start work etc, but letting perspective employer know I’m interested, with an approximate date?

Provided everything goes goes well with NVC and allowing for Xmas etc and consulate interview, I’m kind of thinking Feb ish, obviously I’d explain this in a cover letter to potential employer...  I’ve worked for 20+ years and will go crazy sitting at home for anything longer than a week while looking after I arrive...

what can can I say, I’m a forward planner, but would hate for it to impact on consulate interview 🙈

I've been applying, saying mid-January as expected date to be able to start work. Maybe I'm being too optimistic.

In any case, potential employers have just been very laid back about the timing of interviews. In one case, I had a phone interview a month ago, and will have a follow-up in-person interview next month - they're flying me in.

I kind of feel I might have jumped the gun a bit, but my wife wholeheartedly disagrees.

Same here, I feel like being a conspiracy theorist and saying they did this on purpose so people wouldn’t be able to submit on the weekend before the 15th 😛 However, I am not going to say that 😛.

hi did anyone get the updated i-864?

the one that had to be updated on 14th October.

It’s on USCIS website

Edit: Upon checking USCIS website, final rule charge has actually been postponed, so for now it’s still the old forms. USCIS took the new form off

😎 I didn’t want to jump the gun like you, but I also want to hit the ground running, particularly since their advertising highly desirable positions that I’m more than qualified for very close to where home is going to be... I figured I’ll be there for a month over Christmas and could potentially a-line interviews whilst there...

yours sounds promising if theyre going to the trouble of flying you in... good luck!
