I had to stop and try it next day (in 6 hours). Also, chrome seems to be best option. Nothing else is stable enough.

Funny... I had the most trouble with Chrome. When I started using Opera, there were no glitches at all.

Don't know for sure but seems those browsers depend on the country or something.

In our case we used Mozilla Firefox and hours later, we were done!

We did it all in one go.

I used chrome. I enabled auto-fill feature, so it remembers what you typed last time. That means that when you start and type couple of letters, it will suggest the full thing if you have filled it out before. I did it temporarily and once I was done, I deleted all the cookies and cache to remove the personal information. May be this will cut down the time to refill everything. But I honestly think that they should have better system. Also, if I remember correctly, there is a browser requirement/check/compatibility or something along that line in CEAC once you login. May be try that.

Also, if you are filling DS-160 and filling education & employment, do it one-by-one and save after each employment. Filling all employments at once doesn't work. I guess if you don't hit the page in 2 minutes, it just kick you off...

That's quite strange.

There just might be something you're not doing right.

Can't really tell but something's definitely wrong somewhere somehow

Check your letter from NVC to see if it actually says online processing available for you... there are three ways of processing documents... and it depends on the prefix as outlined on your welcome letter from NVC...
