I believe if you want to change embassy you would have to be a resident of that country. Changing embassies can also have delays associated with it.

Yes.  I asked Nvc, but they said I have to write.  She told me if my husband can have some status even a visa. So I'm confused.

do delhi embassy takes CR 1 interview. what if i change my embassy from Mumbai to delhi. is there any chance that my case will speed up

Delhi embassy doesn't take cr1.. They used to.. But not anymore.

Otherwise i knew they would have been faster 

 

Mumbai is so quiet again. 

 

I was asking because my husband and I are thinking of going to one country, Trinidad and Tobago.  I have some family there.  They say he needs to have a worker visa though for that country. As well as pcc. 

We would like to do our interview from there though. But not sure.  

Smaller countries are better I assume.  India is bigger and they are not giving priority to cr1

I have a question- we got married in Pakistan ( i have a marraige certificate and mariage papers from Pakistan) , but I have a visa interview in Montreal ( as i am also a canadian citizen), do i have to have  a marriage certificate from Canada ( ontario ) as well?

Half of May (15-31) is waiting for IL, June is scheduled for interviews, July is waiting for IL. This evening a couple of May people (IR1, IR5) that have received ILs. We are expecting them to be cleared out on Thursday morning. Hopefully with some of July. Next round expected would the 17th or so
