Hi! Need help here...

I'll be having my interview on Nov 22 (CR1 visa process) and there is a new requirement that on interview, one must be able to show an approved health insurance within 30 days of entry to the US or have the financial resources to pay for foreseeable medical costs.

Right now me and my wife(petitioner) are kinda confused because we don't know what type of health insurance to get for me. She's a self employed and only using a subsidized health insurance (which is not allowed for this requirement). We cannot show financial resource since my wife does not have a big savings.

Any advices out there that you can give for us? Me and my wife have less knowledge and experience with the health insurance policies that's why we are very confused right now. 😔

We got IL letter as well! I suppose there was another batch sent out today.

I'm happy but also extremely nervous, my spouse won't be able to be with me at the interview and I'm terrified. I hope everything goes well.

No time to lose though, gotta start preparing.

Our CR1 interview is coming up on Nov 5 in Dublin.  I've booked flights for my wife and I to the US on Nov 21 assuming all goes well.  Was that a bad idea?  I am not worried about being denied, and the price of the flight was too good to pass up, but I am slightly concerned the paperwork won't be returned in time.  Surely 16 days is enough time?

Who is petitioning for you?
What is her name?
Her date of birth?
Where does she work?
When did you get married?

Where did you guys go for your honeymoon? (Wanted to see pictures so hubby gave it to him)
Did she come back to Bangladesh again?
How did she come to America?
What is your fathers name?
What is your mothers name?
Wanted to see pictures so hubby gave it to him. He went through all the pictures and kept saying wow, beautiful, nice.
Asked who is this lady in one of our wedding photos.
Was this an arrange marriage?

Then said okay your visa is approved. Wait 2 weeks for a mail to pick up passport. You can go home now.

Hubby said they only saw the original civil documents and that’s it nothing else.

I also sent hubby a video made by the US embassy in Bangladesh about the interview process and he said it’s exactly like the video. So I’ll share the link so you can see it.

@K-Man @rahu01

CONGRATSSSSSS. HAPPY FOR YOU :) @naz94. hey got some question for you.

did they give him the medical report back? like the x-ray copy?

when he is going to get his Yellow Package?

did they keep his original documents with them or just gave it back to him?

did they ask for the medical examination receipts?

Thanks in advance.

For Mumbai, we were approved and received passport to our home in Delhi 3 days later. I’m not sure how Dublin will work, it seems like it would be enough time.
