Good day!

I just want to ask if I need to get a new police clearance before I enter the US? Are they gonna ask for it in the airport?
The police clearance that I have was issued on March2019...

or is it necessary only during the interview in Embassy?
Thanks a lot!

Good morning all, really interesting to read everyone's varied experiences of the immigration process. I've added my name to the master spreadsheet and will update accordingly.

I'm from London and my wife is from New Jersey, I recently went case complete on October 2nd and got the corresponding email from the NVC stating that they will work with the London embassy to arrange my interview. It has only been 3 weeks since so I know it's likely I'll need to wait a little while longer, although going by that speadsheet there appears to be quite a variety in the time it takes to get this done, even between the UK applicants!

Unless I am wrong it seems that for London there seems to be a 4-6 week wait from CC to the interview being scheduled? Anyone in the UK please feel free to add to this :) And I hope everyone here has a pain-free and successful process.

You need 6 months validity by the time you reach the US port of entry.

I hope we hear something soon. We are getting near the end of the month and based on what you have provided, there were few May CC folks got interview for early November. I do hope it rains ILs this week for Mumbai, especially IR1-CR1.

By the way, I really appreciate that you still active here on VJ and provide helpful information even after getting your visa approved. Lot of people does not do that. So, a big thank you from me.🙏

No it wasn’t. She was f2a since her husband was a green card holder. It was switched over to IR1 once he became a citizen and since their marriage was over 2 years old by then. Potomac SC only works on US citizens applying for spouse or children under 21. She probably got Texas or California.

Hey I just got my wife's interview scheduled today. Are they going to send us any letter? or we can just show the email at the embassy? do you know anything about it? @naz94

My wife is the US citizen sponsoring me. We had a son born between case complete at NVC and the interview in November. Do I need to bring any updates forms like the i864 to the interview in Montreal? He is already a US citizen by consular report of birth abroad so he is not immigrating with me. Thank you!
