It wasn't behind for me. I was checking every 10 mins since I got home 8PM Washington DC time, which is 8AM Manila. It went from In Transit to Ready around 9PM. We waited for 1030 to verify with the embassy, my wife called. I was on video chat while she called on another phone on speaker, and the guy was like 'yea whenever you're ready make the appointment, and print out the confirmation and take that to your medical"

Now she's on her way. She's going to do Day 1 on Friday, and Day 2 on Monday and Tuesday interview. She will stay in Manila til it's issued.

Here's to hoping all goes well and hitch free!

Waiting for the good news 🤞

My husband received his passport with the visa today! :dancing:Only 2 days after the interview which is quite impressive as we were expecting the receive the passport some time next week.

How long  has it taken others out there?

Here in Cameroon, passports with visas are handed out on Thursdays.

So if you interview earlier on in the week, you'll normally get your visa faster.

Not sure if it applies to other US embassies including yours.

Congratulations once more!

My husband's visa was listed as ISSUED two days after his interview (October 8th), but we had to wait four days for the passport pick up because last Friday was a national holiday then the Embassy was closed for Columbus Day. He picked it up first thing yesterday morning! His flight is in just over a week 🥰

Do we have to submit anything by mail or email at Nvc stage?

I used that status check above and it said documents required.

If you've not been asked to, then CEAC is the only way out.

I know 2 people got ILs after me for the beginning of May!

But didn't hear about more ILs for May!

That's awesome! So they finished all of April and started May... There may be hope 😊😊

Just curious if you know the dates the CC dates for them
