do you if those girls are cr1/ir1 visa or k1? I think K1 can schedule their own interview. Hope they arent Fxx catagory. I guess it doesnt matter once nvc completes the case. Embassy sends IL for candidate as first come first serve basis.

No we are all either CR1 or IR1. The one girl had her interview last week on the 6th and she was approved that day. Took her 4 days to get the email for passport pickup and she picked up that same day. My hubby had his interview next Tuesday. I’m hoping everything goes smoothly InshaAllah.

Do they receive the envelop they're not supposed to open right after the interview or you pick it up same time as the passport?

No, they should  get an envelop to present at the border that, they the (spouses) shouldn't open

No she did not receive any sealed package so they probably sent it electronically

The Department of State has begun electronic processing of some immigrant visa applications. If you have an annotation by the bottom right corner of your visa that says "IV DOCS in CCD", then you are NOT required to hand-carry a packet of documents in a sealed envelope to present at the U.S. Port of Entry. 
 

that’s what it says on the US Embassy of Dhaka instructions page. She said some people got sealed envelopes but she didn’t.

YAY that's exciting that your embassy was working today. My husband's is closed for Columbus Day... Which is annoying as his visa is ISSUED and we just need it to get to the courier.

Mumbai consulate was closed for Columbus Day. Even though I am still at NVC stage waiting for documents to be reviewed, I would like to see movement for Mumbai.

The way things are right now, I may be looking at February for interview? If that's the case, I almost want to delay my wife's arrival, as in April, we will be married for 2 years and she can get 10 year green card, so I don't have to deal with USCIS (read Nebraska😡) again. I am not going to delay anymore, I am buying tickets the day she receives her passport with visa. 😊

Come on Mumbai, repeat Nov-Dec like last year (150+)...🙏
