if you are applying for a cr-1 visa, the nvc will schedule the interview date on your behalf. those who are applying for fiance visas must schedule their interviews themselves.

this is my understanding of the interview date scheduling system.

I just sent my wife the new updated I-864ez form. It seems like nothing changed except the date. I copied everything over line by line. 

So it's just in case she would be able to hand it at the embassy if they ask for it. 

I am still waiting for the case to leave NVC.

My case was approved for expedite. After that, I contacted the consulate directly and they allow me to schedule the interview in the website for the consulate. My is CR1 as well. Is you case expedite?

Our CEAC Case Tracker Status just changed to ISSUED! My husband just had his interview on Tuesday, but he's from a small country that only issues a handful of CR1s every month. I'm hoping we can pick it up from DHL (our courier service) by the end of next week!!

I know two girls who got interview letters today (10/10) and their DQ was July 7th and 9th. Their interviews are this month, October 29th and 30th. They aren’t on this forum tho.

InshaAllah, we might receive IL for Nov. 

My wife is very sick. I applied for expedite process. I received letter today. Unfortunately, request was denied because they are too many applicants waiting for IL for Dhaka, Bangladesh. Praying to God

Ohh I’m so sorry to hear. That really sucks. InshaAllah everything will be better from now on. 

 

I got an update a little while ago about another girl who got an IL also. Her CC is July 31st for November 27th Interview. So your not too far away from an IL. Best of luck and keep me posted!

will do. I am surprised that they are sending IL now. It is not even middle of the

month yet like 14 or 15. which category is that? May be they have started to send IL from starting this week. If July 31 has received it, I am close. Mine is August 6th. Looks like I might receive interview date in December. Thanks again

 

@OldDhaka we are close to receive an IL. they will started to send IL for August soon.
