I thought it was 155mm, now the Heer used 15cm.

no need for the other trappings of the era, however, I might be willing to give her a pearl necklace or 2 ....

It's apparently a very popular category for certain types of... documentaries. I myself prefer a bit of plot.

So Al and I discussed via Hangouts this morning if he would support me if I quit my job and adopted a 1950s housewife lifestyle. Here is the exchange lightly edited:

A: so does this involve you staying home

L: Yes

A: and you will be there when I get home

L: Yes

A: and you cook for me every day

L: Yes

A: do you have to wear shoes

L: ...

L: Why?

A: hush woman

A: barefoot in the kitchen hm

A: make it naked in the kitchen and we have a deal

L: But things can spatter when I'm cooking, what if I get burned? What if I spill something?

A: stop ruining this fantasy

L: Can I wear an apron?

A: stop

L: But I'll need to have all the curtains closed all the time

A: offer withdrawn, back to work

He has been known to drink a White Claw from time to time, but I guess that's okay because it's got alcohol in it. (?)

He does like to tease me with what I call his "performative masculinity" but he says it's mostly not a joke when he slaps me on the rear or subjects me to various wrestling holds. But then I don't know if him saying it's not a joke is actually a joke.

Basically, he's completely messed with my head but I am okay with it!

As a feminist, I support a woman choosing the life path that she believes is best for her. If she has a partner, she should take his or her point of view into consideration as well.I

What does this have to do with anything?  You seem to like using the label.

“I support a woman choosing the life path that she believes is best for her.”

”I’m not a feminist, and I support a woman choosing the life path that she believes is best for her.”

See how both of the phrases declares my support for a woman’s choice, but only one tries to make a point about me?

What does what have to do with anything? You quoted me but I can't see anything in the quote? So I can't answer your question, sorry.

If you're going after me calling myself a feminist -- which is sort of the context I'm reading here, correct me if I'm wrong -- the reason why I mentioned it at all is that there's a popular misconception that feminists don't support women adopting "traditional" feminine roles in the home or the world or whatever. But that's simply not true, at least for post-second wave feminists (like me). It's a bit of propaganda for the feminists -- see, we're reasonable people! :P Just like... non-feminists are for also supporting women choosing the life paths that are best for them.

Was there something I missed?

The important thing to remember is that women can have it all.

Hmmmm. I haven't found that to be true. After all, my access to my ex-husband's Netflix account has been terminated! Now I have to pay for it. :( :P

Seriously, who believes that myth anymore?
