Fiance mentions just now, oh, i sent back p3 with delivery confirmation or whatever it would be called over there. Well, was there a tracking code? Some mailed receipt you should've received? He dug out the receipt - hey, lookit that, a tracking code. Went online. Confirmed delivered. Doesn't say what date, but says delivered. So at least now I'm mostly sure it's the Embassy just processing, not some mail glitch. That's good.

You'd think he'd have mentioned that ability to confirm delivery before!

Ahh so that was Tim i was chatting to in the witing room for the medical :) umm he had glasses on so i didnt recognised him from this pic. Plus I asked if he was on visajourney.com but he said he didnt think so - umm there were a few men there and a couple too that I got chatting to - I was the one fo the two indian girl that were there - i was the one with the michigan baseball cap lol to one who would not shut up lol - Sorry for that - when i get anxious and nervous I get chatty lol.

Well I also had a bruise from the blood test too a massive one!! - and unfortunately I have to get another letter from my GP and a psychiatric evaluation!! so I am kinda bumbed about it all:( more time being wasted!! although I told him i was told by My GP to take my meds as and when I really needed them - and well on the letter he also put mild depression and agrophoia/anxiety - I believe the agrophobia is really self diagnosed as I get too anxious when i go to places I dont know on my own which makes me not want to go - as I explained to the doctor there that well I am here all the way from Leicester - ok with a friend but im here none the less and I feel fine, just tired as we didnt get much sleep night before - well ya know us girls when we get together!! LOL - I think he was more worried that I was on Lorazapam 1mg he said it was addictive which I do know and only take 1 tab when I either go to dentists or when I get very anxious - like my GP said take one before my medical and before my interview as I was so scared - but I told the doctor there that I was fine and didnt take any lorazapam at all these last few days. oh well I dont know - all he said was if you cant go to places you dont know on your own then the embassy will question how are you gonna cope with going to a new country?? my answer being - I will have the love and support from my hubby. I dont know anyways _ i have to get these two letters.

My interview well i think I messed up on that too - I was not happy with my answers - I had everything sorted out in my head on how I would answer but when the time came I went blank and well my answer to her question about "how do you know you really want to marry him if you have only met physically for like 5/6 months and known each other on the internet for 5 years?" all I could come out and say in a little stupid school girly voice was " I love him!" stupid I know but i just couldnt get anything else out!! oh well i guess it is all in gods hands now - I am so pissed with myself although coming home and talkign to David he said he loves me very much and that I shouldnt be hard on myself but if this causes problems for us I will never forgive myself I am so worried right now:( oh well we shall wait and see.

Good luck to all those that had their medical too hope your interviews go better than mine did.

Oh goodness! How stressful! I'm sure it will work out though. Did you get approved-pending-the-medical-results? What terms did you leave it on.

And that was Tim you met - he didn't know there was a photo of him anywhere and he doesn't use visajourney, so I guess he was confused. Now he thinks he helped stress you out! Bollox to the docs for making a moutain out of a medical mole hill. I hope you get through this last bit of trouble with not too long to wait.

I had my medical today - Thursday. Very straightforward though I suddenly got nervous when I got there. Guy was really nice as were the staff generally. Reassuring to have my gender confirmed and it appears from the hammers on my kneecaps that I am indeed alive.

I also sent my P3 back on 29th May so it is fingers crossed time (especially with my wedding dates!)

 and fingers crossed for ya!

Lina - Best of luck to you. It probably wasn't as bad as you think! I can imagine it's like taking an exam in college and thinking you did awful, but then finding out later you did pretty well after all.....x1,000,000!

Lina -- you'll get through this just fine, okay? Just one more hurdle to cross.

I happen to think that your answers -- both to the doctor and to the consular official -- were truthful and way more than adequate. As someone who has tangled with panic disorder for a looooooong time, I know that what "sets you off" can come and go, and can be controlled if you know how to -- and you do! The letters from the docs will explain your situation and all will be settled really soon.

We're all rooting for you!!! (L)

On Monday, my guy is going to move his medical (currently scheduled for the 15th) so that he can register with his local GP and get his med records transferred. *Then* he can check his vaccinations.

He was moaning about 10 billion pounds being spent on the NHS computer system, and not getting the bang for his buck.

My husband said they did not do a colon cancer check on him; he had his medical in September 2006.

I had my medical in September 2006 and I can resolutely confirm that I wasn't checked in that area. To be honest, my doctor was a rather smartly dressed, trouser pressed, flash geezer, I couldn't imagine him getting his fingers dirty.

I bet it was like an episode of Spa of Embarrassing Illnesses. Posh surroundings but with nudity and rubber gloves. Kinky! ;)

I've been waiting almost 4 weeks for packet 4 and had my medical on 4th June. My wedding date is gonna come and go if they don't hurry up.

Your timeline says you sent P3 back on the 21st -- by my reckoning that's a shade under 3 weeks of waiting for P4. I know it's silly to say don't worry, because of course you will, but you are well within the normal waiting period for P4. If you're anxious to know what the status is, give the DoS a call on (202) 663 1225 and have your case number ready. Even if they don't have a date for you yet, they will tell you what has been happening to your file recently. My UKC husband had his medical well over a month before our upcoming interview date and this is not a problem.

I'm not going to lecture you about booking your wedding plans before you had a visa approval, but if you are cutting it fine you need to be prepared to reschedule. The Embassy is giving out dates in July now, so I sincerely hope you didn't book anything for the end of June! Good luck, and let us know when you get the P4.
