How so? The gender pay gap asserts women are generally paid less for doing the same job as men. This research contends that women are making more than men, but it has nothing to do with them doing the same job. It is actually saying that more women are getting higher degrees/better education than men nowadays, and thus getting better jobs and earning more than men. The scenarios are not mutually exclusive.

So being more qualified and getting better jobs leads to more income and less poverty.

How very un democratic party of you

Having a beer so not a scientific survey but nobody here has an issue and not sure why they would.

General consensus it is more a female issue.

I wouldn't have a problem dating or marrying a man who makes less than me. It's his ambition to keep improving himself as a person that means more to me. It's likely Alex will make more than me in earned income for the length of our working career, but I'm likely to have more in terms of assets unless I go crazy and start buying multiple parcels of prestige real estate. That's fine by us both.

The Patriarchy is strong in this one.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I like to spend a little time in both ditches once in a while. Not at the same time though.

I just stay in the middle. No ditches for me, plus no traffic here. All by myself

Which one?

I guess all of them.

Pronouns now are a complicated subject.

"Them" here looks like you meant it as a plural pronoun. If that's the case (please correct me if I'm wrong), who are the "them" in question? Or if it's the singular "they," who is the "them"?

I don't have work tomorrow so I can be patient. :star:

That's a very useful chart, but I'm asking YOU what you mean. :) No need to be opaque. I don't bite (much).

👌

I see. We may have reached an impasse. May I offer an image of Aubrey O'Day and Vanessa Trump instead?

I met Vanessa Trump once at a NY Fashion Week thingy, years ago. My sister got me in. Anyway, Vanessa was really friendly and very, very beautiful. Don Jr. really messed up by cheating on her with Aubrey O'Day.
