I am covering all my bases. I will provide copies of the the W2's and the USCIS website said that NVC likes the transcripts better so I am providing that as well. The IRS provides the transcripts for free.

I also provided 4 last pay stubs and the letter from my employer stating the length of my work history there and my wages per hour. It’s because of the recent promotion the current income has increased.

Congrats on the promotion. All of my pay-stubs are electronic so I just need to download them. Now I was wondering... Does my spouse need copies of my birth certificate and passport for the interview?

Yes, Leslie. If you were not born in USA (like me)  and changed your name, your birth certificate is necessary.

I added both my naturalization certificate and my U.S. passport. On principle, Better more than sorry😉

My cover letter contained my current yearly salary and my start date.... and I'm hoping that my employment letter will have that, but I am waiting to get the letter.

nice! I ended up looking it up and asking for them to include “starting date with the company, current employmentstatus (full time, part time, contract, etc.), position title, annual salary or hourly wage” just Incase

Thanks, I was not aware that there was more than one and it did not say a specific visa center

your manager can provide the employment letter as long as it has the necessary information such as, date of an employment title ECT...
