Both excited and worried about my K3 request.

We decided to jump on this K3 petition movement to see if our I-130 moves along. I just checked my K3 status and it just got denied (that’s what we want right?). But I went to check out I-130 case and it still shows as last reviewed on the day it was received earlier this year.

Were waiting for the denial letter to explain what happened...... I double checked everything in our packet before I sent it to make sure they couldn’t deny it for lack of information. Anybody else here going thru this?

It's been said many times that the website doesn't always update until its sent to nvc. Call USCIS and they will let you know it's been approved or wait for the letter in the mail.

01/28/2019 - Mailed Express Mail USCIS Lockbox Phoenix

01/29/2019 - Received by Phoenix Lockbox
02/04/2019 - Receipt Notice Via Text Message assigned to Nebraska Service Center

Wow.  Just seems like nothing to lose to try it, regardless of the service center our 130 gets sent to - in the end it only results in the same or faster timeline I would imagine (and only very rarely if it did go through, bit of extra cost...)

Thanks for the replies guys. I was just wondering if anyone had submitted a k3 and been denied for any reason other than being approved for the I-130.
