Mailing P3 to GUZ

I've seen conflicting information on how to mail back the P3.  Some say we have to use CITIC and others say EMS is OK.  I don't believe instructions in P3 specify a particular courier but there are various opinions.  Mailing through CITIC would require 4 hours of travel but EMS can be sent from a local facility. 

 

Can we mail via EMS or should it be done via CITIC?

There was a thread here that said CITIC very recent like August.  Another said they sent via local QUAI DI about months back..    so I read the 2 recent versions  but cannot find the thread unfortunately.

I can confirm that EMS works. We just went through the process a couple weeks ago. However, it did seem to get “lost” at the embassy. Although EMS confirmed delivery, it took over a week for GUZ to locate our package. It was just before the mid autumn festival, so that could have had an impact.

We wound up paying via Ali-pay and mailed using EMS.  If we have any issues I'll update.

EMS worked for us as well and we received the P4 email about 9 days after it was delivered.  I think this is very good considering the holidays where they did not work during the first week of October.

We received the P3, checked with local CITIC Bank and YES they know how to send it having just done another K-1 recently.    CITIC asked me immigrant (YI MING) or non immigrant (FEI YI MING), we just said YI MING, as K-1 is processed liked immigrant visa.   They will send what we have in a sealed packet to GUANGZHOU.
