Are other people still waiting?  I am seriously going to fall into a major depression if we don’t interview soon.

Still waiting bc of the EO border ban from covid. What about you?

Hi everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has any insight regarding the k1 visa MRV fee? I believe it is valid for 1 year. Anyone know if this will be extended due to Schengen area EO border ban? Hope so!

We were in the midst of scheduling medical and interview when the EO went into place in March 2020. Are people that had medical completed going to need to pay to have it completed again since it has been longer than 6 months?

Here's hoping this comes to an end soon!!

Yes, the MRV is good for one year but your noa2 is only good for 4 months at a time. Both go hand in hand. Currently, MRV's have been extended for two additional months. NOA2 is can be extended in 4-month extensions but is controlled by the embassy. Some embassies are require a second medical and yes you will need to pay for the medical exam fee a second time.

I’m so sorry!! 😔

We found out in September that I am pregnant and it’s a very high risk pregnancy.  So we were able to get an emergency interview and thankfully were approved. He arrived in November and we got married one week ago. Baby is coming in May!

My heart goes out to all of you who are still waiting. This process is an exhausting one, even without a pandemic. Your time is coming!! Don’t give up!!!

Looking at the tabs in the blue ribbon on the top of this page indicates to me that there is a "forums" tab. I'd look there first since you are looking for a thread in the AOS sub-forum.

Our visa  was approved yesterday, we're so happy, covid 19 made this process a crazy and long one but God will surely see us through. All the best to each and everyone of us.
