@Greenbaum thank you so much for the quick answer. I’m sorry if this sound silly, I took a look at the form.... it must be completed by the petitioner or beneficiary?

Well that is a good question. One embassy responded to that question with beneficiary. I say you both work on it but the answers, from what the embassy wants, is to come from the beneficiary. Hope that helps.

Also, @Greenbaum @Ali&Ed What would be the supporting documents for this form?

I have not see any instructions so we are all flying by the seat of our pants on this one. As you go through the document use common sense to what should you bring along to substantiate your answers. Of course, you still have to have the I-134 from your USC.

Another way of looking at a RFE is the adjudicator needs a bit more information to finish your case. An adjudicator would not send an RFE if they didn't think you were going to be approved on the merits of what has been sent so far. If the additional information is satisfactory to them then your case will be approved. So is your glass half empty or half full?

Thank you, Greenbaum! After the initial disappointment I am feeling more optimistic and your message helped a lot too :) we just have to wait and see!

We got out RFE yesterday and it was the cursed 4a question! We forgot to answer although I could swear we did but I guess a few more weeks of waiting is what we get for not checking one more time :) I’m relieved it was only that one thing though!

2-3 weeks after approval typically. Your mileage may vary.

I'm not sure I understand this but there are so many others who have missed that question and I was wondering if you had any thoughts to the reasoning why. I am curious to know. Thanks.

Honestly, I have no idea! My fiancé was the one to fill out the form so I can’t be sure, I think they just missed it somehow? During the wait for our noa2 I started reading more topics in this forum and noticed that many people had a problem with that particular question too, I think maybe it’s just weirdly situated on the page? If I knew what I know now I’d make sure to remind them of that question before sending off the form, but oh well, we learn on our mistakes:)

I've SO BEEN THERE!!  My heart is hurting for you waiting and watching the clock ticking everyday... Just the not knowing and feeling left hanging feels cruel.   Please, just keep the faith.  💞  It's coming!!
