I just checked my case status online and discovered that my application was approved today.  I literally jumped out of my chair and startled a coworker. My NOA1 was Oct 14 so my application took 108 days for approval.  Hang it there everyone, the approvals are coming.

Congratulations

Yes, I had to complete 24 hours of community service and everything was fine. The only other issues I've ever had were a couple of speeding tickets. I think I must not have read the directions closely enough. This is what I found upon re-reading it:

Item Number 4.b. Criminal History Documents. If you indicated “Yes” in Item Number 4.a., provide information that explains the circumstances, places, dates, and outcomes for each incident of arrest, citation, charge, indictment, conviction, fine, or imprisonment. You must submit court certified copies of the arrest record and/or disposition for each incident unless you submit a certified statement from the court indicating that no record exists of your arrest, citation, charge, indictment, conviction, fine, or imprisonment.

I missed that part. Although stupid, underage consumption of alcohol is a pretty insignificant charge, so I didn't think to read it closely and just gave a quick explanation. Oops. I will work on obtaining those records tomorrow in anticipation of the RFE. Even if that isn't the issue, it would be good to have them on hand for when we get further along in the process.

This is what we forgot too. We declared the moving violation (traffic) but forgot the supporting documents...now we're trying to get in touch with the police department...in switzerland :( Nightmare!!

It would be worth your while to get in touch with the department involved. They might not have any document for you but at least you can then get them to present a document stating that there was nothing there

We have emailed the local police station and also requested a police certificate from Switzerland (even though neither of us lived there. It was while travelling through Switzerland). The RFE gave us 90 days to respond but I want to get it done ASAP. I will be calling them tomorrow if they don't respond.
