Awesome! Thanks for your help! I was updating the wrong thing all this time.

There in lies the problem. That's why I don't even request you update but I also give the instructions on how to do it. Thanks again.

It is a little confusing since there are two things to fill out: a profile and a timeline.

Congratulations!

Hey guys, just an update.

My I-129F application was delivered on 10/31/19

I received a text saying the case was recieved and I should receive an official receipt notice in the mail. Is this the NOA1 or is that two different things? Sorry if this is a dumb question!

This is great news. The oficial reciept # in the text is my case number that I should look up online for updates correct? Could I still get an RFE or am I pass that?

You can get a RFE all the way up until you get your NOA2 in other words anytime during the wait for your  approval.

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

RFE's can be handed out up to NOA2.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Or should I wait for another month? How long is the police certificate valid for? I see some say its valid for 3 months and some says 6 months... If it is 6 months, I would like to get a head start

Each embassy is different. You should be asking specific embassy interview requirements in your sub-forum for your country or region. Go to the blue ribbon at the top of the page, select "Forums" scroll 3/4 of the page down and look for the link.

How long will it take for USCIS to mail back the rejected I-129F packet? Until now we have not received it. However, I saw one post where they were rejected on Oct 30 and they received their packet already. Ours was rejected on Oct 29. We called them already but all they say is wait and emailed them but no response.

Sorry for this post. Hope anyone who have idea can share it with us. We are trying to be positive and hoping that we will receive it soon so we will know what is wrong with our application and do the necessary corrections. As much as possible, we would like to resubmit as soon as possible.
