Just a little FYI. The NOA2 does not expire for one year, but it must be renewed every 4 months through the embassy.

 

So, you said you got in. How did you do it? I ask because maybe someone else will experience the same thing you did and can use your method to gain entry.

That's great to know, thank you. 

We had created the account on ais already weeks ago, but it didn't recognize us or allow us in. 

We then created a new account but had issues with it not letting us pick the K visa. It was not an option. It also kept looping around back to logging in over and over. 

I went on my tablet, signed in, and clicked on Add Group on the top right, which then led me to choose the K visa option and pay. 

 

So I've also searched to no avail about whether or not the beneficiary has to have his updated letter of intent to marry notarized as well as the petitioner. Could you clarify please?

Most embassies do not ask for it unless you go beyond your first 4 month NOA2 date. Some have asked for it at the interview.  Some don't.  Since I can take you to the front door of your embassy  I can't know eah nuance for each. Find your countries/region subforum and pose your questions there. Links are in the PDF.

There isn't a soul here that is anywhere near the AOS stage. This is a K-1 thread. That question if I may suggest, belongs in the AOS thread found from the "Forums" tab. Thank you.

The clock starts ticking once you set foot on US soil. From that point to 90 days you must either get married and file your AOS or decide that this is not for you and return to your country.

He has 90 days to get married. Filing the AOS. Is possible after 90 days but not recommended since you will be out of status.

Failure to file for adjustment of status before the expiration of the I-94 (90 days after arrival)  results in being out of status, and the person IS subject to detention and deportation......just recently, a poster failed to file for adjustment of status before expiration of her I-94.  She was passenger in a car which was stopped by the police.  As a result of her failing to file her I-485, she was jailed for 5 weeks.....and her case is still on-going........so, does it matter if you file for AOS during that period?  YES!
