Congrats to all of you that have gotten your visa! 😄

I finally got the letter from NVC with the case number (it was sent to me, the beneficiary, which surprised me a bit). Interestingly enough, it was dated November 26th 2019 and didn’t arrive until today, almost 2 months later. Then I saw that it had a stamp on the envelope: “Missent to Taipei.” Lol!! No wonder it took so long to make it to Sweden!

Hi everyone! Finally I had my interview today and got approved!!! Congrats to everyone who already got approved as well!

My experience was really great, I was just asked a few common questions and brought complete documents.

I would like to add a note that is (Indonesia) country-specific: When the CO was collecting the supporting financial documents, they asked for 1040. There was no mention of 1040 in the Embassy instruction that they had sent us. In the instruction, they told us to bring IRS Tax Transcript, which we weren’t even asked for by the CO. Even though luckily I brought the 1040, I found it confusing that they had a different requirement. Just last week my friend got approved without being asked 1040, everything was following the Embassy instruction. Was there a miscommunication, a new rule, or something else, I really am not sure.

Those who didn’t provide 1040 were issued 221(g) when I think they shouldn’t have because they had everything from the instruction except 1040 that was never mentioned in the first place. Kind of a bummer!

It's disconcerting that they changed the rules in the middle of the game and didn't tell you. I would have asked why it is not listed as a requirement on the P3. But, they can always say we can ask for anything we need to adjudicate your case.

Hello all

yesterday I did my interview and the agent told me that it is approved.

but When I consult my file on CEAC this is what its gives me above.

Thanks for your comments

regards

I think this is normal! It has to get processed before it's ready to get picked up or mailed! It will change in a couple of days! Congrats!!

If you go back and read the PDF from the first page, the last entry, you will find the steps that your visa will go through before it is issued. AP is one of many steps you will see. This is NORMAL processing and nothing to be concerned with.

As I try to explain to you all you need to sit back and let the process play out. You can't move your file any faster by "freaking out" or worrying or what have you. This is a game of patience. The more you have the better off your life is during this process. Good luck and safe travels.

and Congratulations you are approved.

my advice to all just calm down and be confident on interview day, because your petition is already approved and the consular just wants see you and your confidence.

Best wishes and good luck to each an everyone of you, we too 440 days from NOA 1 till visa approval, long wait come to end but it worth :)

Keep in mind that there are additional items that the CO adjudicator will do on your file so even if they say your approved, your not approved till you see ISSUED on CEAC.
