So, my case switched to "Ready" the day before the post office went on strike... So I still haven't received anything in the mail from the Embassy. Needless to say I'm sad

Wallowing in spilt milk won't bring the interview to you any faster but this will:

 

I don't have the P3 instructions for your Embassy. If and when you get a copy if you could share with me then I would be able to share with others who come behind you.  Here are a few things that I did find the can be used as a primer.

 

From the Serbia Embassy's website: Interviews are by appointment only! You will receive an appointment when you have submitted your notice of readiness confirming that you have all the required paperwork in your possession. Embassy Belgrade will notify you of your interview date and time and paying the MRV application fee by an appointment letter.

 

Required Documentation

 

You, the foreign-citizen fiancé(e), (and eligible children applying for K-2 visas) will be required to bring the following forms and documents to the visa interview:

• Completed Form DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application. You (and any eligible children applying for K-2 visas) must: (1) complete Form DS-160 and (2) print the DS-160 confirmation page to bring to your interview. 
• A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S. (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions).
• Divorce or death certificate(s) of any previous spouse(s) for both you and the U.S. citizen sponsor
• Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)
• Medical examination (vaccinations are optional, see below)
• Evidence of financial support (Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, may be requested)
• Two (2) 2x2 photographs. See the required photo format explained in Photograph Requirements
• Evidence of relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e)
• Payment of fees, as explained below

Note: The consular officer may ask for additional information, such as photographs and other proof that the relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) is genuine. Documents in foreign languages, other than the language of the country in which the application takes place, should be translated. Applicants should take to the visa interview clear, legible photocopies of civil documents and translations, such as birth and divorce certificates. Original documents and translations will be returned.

Was approved today at the London embassy . They didn't ask for any tax documents . I 134 and employer letter was enough. My fiance said they only asked "tell me your story " he told her about how we met first time we visited each other the other visits including a 6 week stay he just chatted away and she listened . When he got to the 6 week visit he said he stayed to learn how routine would be with the kids she cut him off and asked if I had been married previously if he has and ages of the kids he answered she said alright your approved . He said they were very very nice

Thank you. I've prepared everything that was in my power. I'm just waiting for the actual letter from the embassy so I can schedule the medical.

I got emailed yesterday from the embassy in Belize... With 4 documents and an interview date of January 21... final leg of this part is finally here.

Hey all so I am part of the UK k1 visa group and a few people who went to interview at the same time as my fiance (this last monday ) received their visas already . London it usually takes only 2 says of administrative processing but now we are heading on 4 days. I know it sounds silly to be so worried but I am . On london uk site it says 7 to 10 days but I found it so disheartening that everyone elses was approved fast . Worries me that we messed up the ds 160 somehow. I suppose it's because I dont understand the process of administrative processing . London everyone gets it . He got an approval at the interview and no 221.  This whole process fries the nerves.  Hope monday the website says issued . If not then have to wait until Thursday . It's not real in my head until it says issued and he has his passport back.

You should NEVER, NEVER, NEVER did I happen to say NEVER compare yourself to others. No two applications are the same, two embassies are the same and NO TWO CO's are the same. Every application has a process and some take longer than others. Stop worrying. Tomorrow you'll hear from them and then you will think you are a fool for getting so worked up. Oy Vey!

We had our interview today. We’re technically in administrative processing because my fiancé had to do a sputum test. We’re in a weird situation where he had to travel from his country (Cuba) to another (Guyana) for the interview. So he’ll go back to Cuba, I’ll go back to the US and wait 8 weeks (plus processing) before he gets the visa. But I asked at the end of the interview if we were approved pending the medical results and they said yes 😊 So we’re happy and a little sad and nervous at the same time.

He recieved his visa today in the mail and I do in fact feel silly 🤣

We had our interview this morning! Straightforward experience with lots of waiting. We were approved! We are so excited!!!!!
