Just wanted to let everyone know that I got an email on 11/26 from the NVC stating that they forwarded my petition the US embassy in Seoul! Progress.

Confirm that they have done what they say they have done. Check your status at ceac.state.gov, enter immigrant then your case number. What is your current status?

Hey guys! Congrats all the 'in transit' couples of this week! :) I wanna ask you something. My passport gonna expire on May 2022, do you guys think I should renew it for more years for after marriage procedures or this one will be ok?

That is plenty of time to get you to the USA but if you want to travel after your GC is issued then you may want to investigate what it will take to get a new one from USA verses you being in your country now.

It says...

“IN TRANSIT

Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.”

I don’t recall seeing anything about an interview date in the email I received from the NVC. From my understanding, I have to schedule the interview once I get my P3 through ustraveldocs?

I don’t recall seeing anything about an interview date in the email I received from the NVC. You schedule your own interview. That's a pat answer they send out as mainly is for a "immigrant" visa. K-1's are considered non-immigrant with immigrant intent.

From my understanding, I have to schedule the interview once I get my P3 through ustraveldocs?  Correct

Try the DHL hack found in the PDF file on the first page. It's fun to know when your file touched down in your country.

No. It's been stated throughout the thread that it will take a few weeks for hard copy and email a few days after the case goes in transit. Keep in mind we have holidays here in the states so nothing is working till Monday. Patience

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
