I suspect you will be on the shipment tomorrow. Be sure to check ceac.state.gov and enter immigrant for current status. They ship both T/W and throughout the day. So have patience.

 

There is a little housekeeping that needs to be completed by you so we can help. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. Today and tomorrow are big days for some as your case file may ship out to your embassy. Check CEAC for updated progress and look for "in transit"!! If that shows you are on your way. Shipments are throughout today and tomorrow so don't get discourage if your record at CEAC has not changed over to "in transit” Also, for those who want to have a little fun in tracking your shipment see the DHL hack on the first page of this thread NUMBER 19 for instructions. NOTE: The DHL hack information will not be available till Wednesday as the DHL and NVC computers must sync with each other to produce the outcome.

 

You have three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number. Once your record is set to "ready" you are ready to proceed in processing your next steps as listed in your P3 for your embassy.  I have most P3 if you hit me up with a request, I will post back the links.

 

Please don't screenshot and post your CEAC status as it just clutters up the thread. We all know what it looks like. Let us know your progress as we want to celebrate with you. Good luck.

I am very confused here -  could someone help.

 

after the case is ready in embassy (by online tracking) we have to wait for P3 which will be sent to petitioner or to fiance? 

My second questions is that Embassy inform the interview date or we can take an appointment by our choice of date?

Don't do anything in advance until the case is ready at embassy and the embassy sends you an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc.  Usually takes about 2 months to receive.

Congrats! 

 

You do everything on your own. Medical is walk in and you set up interview through USEM website, but you have to pay visa fee first before you can schedule. Have you completed your ds-160 yet?

you do need your NVC letter with MNL#. When did yours go in transit? Usually, they email you once your case is shipped out to your Embassy. When I checked mine early in the morning, the status changed from at NVC to in transit, and after a few a hours, I got the email from NVC with the MNL #.

I think it varies from where you are from. For the Philippines, in our experience,  it took only a day to change it from in transit to ready. Good luck!
