How many days after noa2 did you email/call?

I emailed them to update my fiance(e) and I's email addresses for updates about a week after we got our NOA2. I called NVC at exactly 20 days (including weekends) after NOA2 and got our case #. I was on hold for more than 2 hours. I got off work and dialed NVC as soon as I got in my car. 45 mins passed, I was home, still on hold lol. Ate dinner, took a shower, and after I was about to give up, someone finally answered! Patience is virtue indeed!

Dang. That's crazy long to be on hold!

Anyway, thanks for the info. Glad to see that things are still moving fast

My fiance is in the Philippines too, is that interview date (12-3), the earliest you found when you scheduled it? (Just trying to gauge how long from ready to interview)

You're Welcome!

It is moving pretty quickly. It only took a day from in transit to Ready, so expect it to move fast when you get your case #. This is specifically for the Philippines and based on our experience.

As for the interview date, I saw Nov 21,22, 25, and 26 and  for Dec, the available days are Tuesday and Thursday all throughout the month.

Wow! That's awesome! I read a couple of posts on the Philippines forum where they got their visa issued a few days after the interview! (Unlike a few weeks ago where some were in AP for sometime.) Looks like you'll together by Christmas! Lucky you!

one last question, do you remember if the interview times are all early in the morning? (Seems so, reading the embassy reviews.)

That would be awesome if it only takes a few day for visa to be issued after interview! I'm hoping she'll be here by Christmas, but it still depends on her if she wanna stay for Christmas over there and/or if her family requests it. Can't really decide for her. But most importantly, let's see how the interview goes first. lol

The interview times are hecka early it's annoying, but oh well. Ours is at 6:35am lol fiancee wasn't happy about it but no choice.

My Fiance had her interview on the 14th, visa issued on the 15th. I can confirm, things are moving quickly at USEM right now. Of course all cases are different. Our evidence was very strong (a child).

Hi,

Hope you don't mind me asking.

Was the waiting time at the USEM long? How many questions were asked?

She was there for a couple hours. Once inside things went fast. She does not remember exactly how long because she was elated this part of the process was over.

Our case is a little different. I lived in Manila and we have a child together. We knew we would not be denied. They only asked her where we met and about her previous marriage. Only docs they took were CENOMAR, birth cert, and annulment court paper. Her interview with the actual CO was 90 seconds long. I believe my passport pages with work visas going back to 2014 I sent with the i-129f , and more overwhelmingly our child, made this super easy for us.

That's awesome! I'm happy for your family! My fiance(e) and I have been together for more than 7 years (LDR) and lived together for a year last year in the Philippines. Hope it's good enough for the CO. 🙏🙏

Status changed now to Ready :) waiting for P3, any idea how many days it takes?

For the question "how long will it take" the answer will always be "no one knows with any certainty" when you will receive such and such. If you want a guesstamation then head on over to your regional forum and ask those from the same embassy what their experience has been. Or, you could select your flag in your profile and use the link for others who are near you in time for your embassy.

Just sent an email/message off to NVC using the link.

Just wondering if it's necessary to call NVC for the case number since they will email/mail a hard copy anyway? (Or do they really?)

It'####### or miss. Calling for the NVC stage is recommended.
