Our Visa approved today, timeline updated. We've been together 5 years and have a kid. It was never really in doubt.

Did not ask for 134 or any proof of ongoing relationship. They only asked her about her past, she was previously married, nothing about me or the kid. Between the pre-screening and actual interview, added up to less than 5 minutes.

Thanks to all that answers any of my questions or read my blabbing on other topics. I'll be back at the next step to annoy some more.

Congratulations!

Yes you have to. Because it will give u barcode with number tthen u take it to bank and make a payment for ur interview.  I believe the bank will again give u a different number that u can use to schedule ur interview.

You need to complete the DS-160 first as the confirmation number is used to pay your fee and then schedule the interview.

Hi to all

our case is ready since the 11th nov on ceac site

However, I called the United States Embassy in Abidjan.

They say that, my physical case has not happened yet and she tells me that my case is in the system.

I do not really understand. 😔

Here is a better understanding of what is happening. Your case file was sent electronically to the embassy which tripped the switch to indicate it was "ready" but it is not ready till such time as both the electronic and the physical file are at the embassy. The paper file should arrive soon but in the mean time you can still move forward with many of the other items that need to be completed.

Thank you, but how long will it take? that physical records arrive here in Abidjan?

No one can say for sure but have you tried following the DHL shipment hack in the PDF from the first page? That's the only indicator unless you call every few days. But keep in mind that the embassy is going to contact the beneficiary with updated instructions so maybe a little less calling and worrying may help the situation. Just saying.

Hi everyone! My fiance just got an e-mail from Turkey embassy on 14th!! That says our case is in Ankara and ready to schedule an appointment! Plus they letting us know that they won't send a paper P3 and gave us a link for instructions. So I think I don't have to wait for a paper instructions packet to start getting everything ready for interview. 🙄
