Yeah i'm in the same exact boat. I actually called twice and still don't feel 100% sure. Lets have faith and wait for good news. Good luck!
BTW, I didn't get any emails or letters yet either.

Why would you not have faith when MILLIONS have gone before you and have received a visa. You have an approval all that is left to do is let everything flow their natural course to your interview and you show up with a smile and confident and you will have that visa. Trust the process.

The main thing that I'm worried about is its lost on someones desk or its misclassified somehow. For example, I track the case online and it says AT NVC (as expected), but then the description it lists out to follow 6 steps as if it were a regular immigrant visa that is handled at NVC and not at an embassy. I click on the link in the description and it takes me to the page listing the 6 steps. AFAIK, I'm not supposed to do anything until the Madrid embassy receives the case and sends me packet 3.

I understand that their are some items that causes doubt. But if you are here and you are asking questions or you are spending time reading the thread (I recommend that you read a thread like this one but a few months prior to get an example of what is being discussed you'll find that it mirrors this thread to a point) from the beginning to have an idea what to expect when you get such and such. It's all an education. Is the process perfect NO or He!! NO. But it is what it is and  you or I or anyone else is not going to change it. So, it's up to us to learn and that's the wonderful thing about VJ. There are many here that have gone before us and MOST if not all of what we are experiencing on our own journey someone else has experienced it before us. So don't let something throw you off just because it may not pertain to you. If you have spent anytime reading then your knowledge will tell you that it isn't the right thing for your journey and you ignore it. If you haven't been reading and learning then YES it will confuse you. Your only as "smart" as the last thing you read.

NVC will not send case files to Haiti until such time as they are ready to interview you. This action is a product of the problems in Haiti. Relax until you see your file goes to the embassy and the embassy contacts the beneficiary for next steps.

I can't predict that. Keep checking the embassy website and find others from Haiti who you can share information with.
