We scheduled her interview this morning. Very relieved to finally get to this stage. There were many dates available at USEM(Manila) but we scheduled hers for December 19, because that’s the best time for us.

NOA1 4/15/19

NOA2 9/9/19

At NVC 10/9/19

NVC Ready status 11/4/19

Interview 12/19/19

What was the earliest date available? I'm just curious how long the wait until interview could be. Thanks!

They had some available next week. I was surprised. I wish we were ready, but there’s a few things we need to resolve before she moves here

just want to update you guys, noa2  Oct. 17, case received Nov. 5th and assigned case # today. I was on hold for more than 2 hours and it was soooooooooo worth it!

Thanks for the update. We have the same noa2 date. I wasn't going to call until around the 17th. But I called today and we also got a case number assigned yesterday. Looks like we both made it just in time for the shipment on the 12th.

I called this morning around 7:50am and my call was answered within 2 minutes. The NVC agent said perfect timing as my case arrived this morning, Nov 7th at NVC. It was my first time calling so it was good timing. Obviously no case number but I was surprised they received our case within 16 days.  Tomorrow I fly out to see my Fiancé and relax for the next week. :)

Congratulations!! Thanks for the tip!

just called the NVC non immigrant number (waited less than 5 minutes) and they received my case on Nov 3 but just now opened it today according to the agent. She said to call back in a week for a possible case number. Nothing crazy yet, but it is still exciting to hear progress!

NOA1: May 24, 2019

NOA2: Oct 22, 2019

Just called the NVC, I waited only about 5 minutes.  They don't have my case yet (NOA2 of 10-23).  Of course the woman reminded me it can take up to six weeks, which I knew - but seeing people say their's had already arrived made me want to at least check! I'm sure it will get there soon, I'll call back next week!

Also - I know there's been confusion about this so I just wanted to share - I asked them if we needed to use the case number of the receipt (WAC) number on the DS-160.  The person I spoke to said that it asks for receipt number, so the WAC number is fine.  I know a lot of people who used their case number without issue, but also people who used their case number without issue - so not sure if there is a "right" answer, since it does say "receipt/petition number" so maybe you can use either.  Just thought I'd share.

Thank you for sharing! We have the same NOA2 date! I’ll be following along to see how things go and will update here too!  Best of luck to you!
