I don't know 🤔 I just realized it this morning. Didn't really pay attention to the voicemail two days ago, but when I thought about it, they already mentioned the new times back then.

And calling wasn't any different... took me around six tries to get the different voicemail and then being on hold for a while as usual.

This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1, case assignment from NVC and then onwards to your Embassy.  Contained in the PDF below are many tips, tricks and hacks to help you along the way in what steps you could be taking along the way.

These are items that everyone asks for, so I thought I just post a PDF of them here for you to refer to when it's necessary.

My F got his noa2 oct 3. We do have a case # already  but status is still "at nvc". Is it really taking this long? Can I do ds-160 while waiting for it to be case ready? Does it have expiration if we do it now? Thanks.

Yes it's taking this long as they have procedures in place and you haven't taken the time to educate yourself from a PDF file that I wrote on tips, tricks and hacks for the place your in with your case. You'll find it on the first page, second post. BtW it's free and your welcome.

Yes you can complete the DS-160 now and it has no expiration date. You should be in the Philippines sub-forum to get answers for the embassy specific questions you will have.

My case moved from in transit to ready 31.okt, and -last updated was that date too. So transit means your file was inroute to the embassy. Ready means your case is ready for the interview. The dates will continue to update each time your record is "touched" by an embassy employee or any other government employee.

Today I checked again and last updated date was yesterday 06.nov? What that mean? See my explanation above.

I still waiting my packet 3 And you will wait and wait some more until such time as they are ready. You have enough information to begin putting together your documents for the interview. If you don't here is a check list to used that most embassies use for the document requirement.

Have you ever considered to go to the embassy website and see what is next and what the process is?

https://rs.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee/the-interview/

Have you followed the links to other informative pages from the embassy website.

The information is out there. Why don't you try and do some of the work on your own. Google can be your best friend. Other portions of VJ have a lot of information. Start being proactive instead of complaining that they didn't do this or that as they can say the same thing about your approach. Sorry if the truth hurts but you got to help yourself sometime. Now would be that sometime.

You didn't offend me. My opine is to help  you but most come on here to complain about their situation and pretty soon others are chiming in and we have nothing but a "" session with nothing being accomplished. There is so much information out their and if one were to spend less time whining and comparing to others and doing their homework they would have a better understanding of the process and would also be more prepared for the interview. That was my point. Sorry you just came along at the "wrong" time and I used you as example, not only for your sake but for the group. I hope you continue without problems.
