thanks so much for all of your help @Greenbaum

i was approved roughly 12 days ago. i am heading out of country to visit my fiance this thursday for the rest of the month so may have limited phone access.

i think i signed up my noa2 receipt number properly according to the guides listed. would it be worth it to call tomorrow and try to see if my case was received at the nvc? (at 13-14 days) or should we just wait it out and i'll hear something by email since i signed up already?

thanks so much again for all of your help.

NVC received our case on Oct. 29th and case number assigned on the 31st. I spoke to someone at NVC and they said it hasn't been sent out. This will only happen next week or there is another shipment tomorrow?

Next week on 12th November is correct. That's the next shipment. No one earlier.

Yes, your case is still sitting at NVC and its been far too long. It's time to call NVC and talk to a tier 2 or a supervisor to see why it's being held up.

Why do you say it's far too long?

The NOA2 is October 9th. And the NVC received it.

My NOA2 is October 3rd and NVC received and created the case number on October 30th. They told me that when I called yesterday. And they told me they can't tell me if they will ship it next week. So I wouldn't call it being hold up in the other case.

Or did I misunderstand anything?

Check the PDF where you'll find the answer.

My mistake. I thought he said his case number was assigned on 10/9 not the NOA2. Thanks for catching that error.

Oh. Okay. Alright 😊

I didn't want to blame you or anything. Just thought I might have misunderstood something.

But then it's all good and clear.

Thanks for your response.

I have a rather specific I134 question that I have been unable to find an answer for...

Part 3 Question 1 is regarding employment information but there is no section on the form for retired persons to enter pension income information.  The only blocks are for current employment.

Anyone have information on how retired persons with pensions enter their income on the I134?

Thanks.

@Greenbaum

I just looked at the NVC homepage to find out how long it takes for them to answer emails (currently over a month) and saw that they have different times for calling than you have in your PDF file.

Looks like they extended their times 🎉

Which are the old ones?

9 am to 9 pm?

Or the ones on the homepage?

But the ones on the homepage are also mentioned at the voicemail...

Unless they have changed and at this time you are the only one reported these hours. Try the new hours and see what the result are.
