I got Belarus mixed up with Belize. Silly me! I don't have a Belize P3. When you get your copy would you share with me please. Thanks.

I would think that the back letter will be fine but I find the job letter to be subject to the CO viewing the document with the thought is, "is he still employed"? So Employment letter I would recommend be close to the interview. Just my thought. There is no written fast rule unless outlined in the P3 from the embassy.

I'm just using common sense.

Yes I will

Thank you

Hello all,

I got my noa2 approval on October 9th.i called NVC yesterday and after 2 hours waiting they told me they received it, but it's currently in administrative processing? Usually how long does that take? What does that mean?

Thanks!

AP means that they are doing further work on your file. AP is not a case for denial so relax. At the NVC stage it can be normally 1 to 2 weeks before a case number assigned. Give it a couple more days then call again. You can't do anything till next Tuesday when shipments leave NVC for the embassies so there isn't really a need to call every day. Just my experience.

P3 Letter from Consulate

Starting 1/2019 Indonesia requires the Tax Transcript and not the 1040.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

I really appreciate it, thanks! I will share mine once I get my P3 for comparison.

@Greenbaum As it relates to the medical examination, how soon is it recommended to get that done? Do I need to be fully vaccinated as well?

Medical should be done as close to your interview date as possible. The validity of your visa is based on the medical date and not the visa issuance date. Visa is good for 6 months normally from medical exam date. Yes, it's best to VAC their in your country as it will be needed for the AOS after marriage and of course it's more expensive here in the states.

They did give me a case number and invoice number at least, but still in administrative processing. Thanks I'll wait for their email or call back on Tuesday if not.

You didn't say in your original post that you have your case number. My answer would have been entirely different. Oy Vey.

Use your case number to check your status come next Tuesday at ceac.state.gov and use "immigrant" as your selection. It will give you your current status. You are not in AP. I don't know why she told you that. Your record is just sitting their waiting for next weeks mass DHL shipping. Read more my PDF file located on the first page.

Very weird. She said I was in administrative processing, but gave me a case number. I confirmed the email address they had and it was correct. I asked her why I hadn't received an email and she said it hadn't been sent since it was still processing. I asked if I could track it online and she said no since it was processing... I tried tracking it but says search did not return any data...

Odd...

I might have checked in the wrong place.

When I used your link this came up.

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask.

Is that normal? I haven't received anything from NVC yet.

Thanks again for your help.

I have posted over 20K responses to people. Most of those responses contained links. Those links can be updated at anytime and I don't have any idea which one you are referring to. Could you post the link where you landed on a page with this information. Thanks.

Thanks for taking the time to help us out, we really appreciate it. When I check status it says AT NVC as the title and then the message I pasted above. When I click on the links in the message it redirects me to:

Yes, your case is still sitting at NVC and its been far too long. It's time to call NVC and talk to a tier 2 or a supervisor to see why it's being held up. It could be sitting on someone's desk who has forgotten all about it.

The website that I gave you is website that is very generic in nature meant mostly for "immigrant" because a K-1 is a non-immigrant visa with immigration intent. It's what they have to offer in place of a P3. You may want to wait a little longer for your embassy to contact you with their details or see if you can locate you sub-forum for others that can help you. There isn't much more you can get out of this thread since you are beyond what the topic here is.  Good luck.
