Be careful providing any photos of it. While COs are familiar with local customs, anything that might be misinterpreted as a marriage ceremony can result in a refusal.

I understand your point. We submitted many photos of our engagement ceremony to USCIS in our original petition. Didn't seem to be an issue then. And I'd think in Turkey they'd be far more aware of the engagement ceremony than the USCIS.

My fiancee just had her interview in Turkey on Monday and was approved, had her passport back by the same friday.   On my I-134 I only stated my income, (which was above the requirements.). I also submitted a letter from my employer and my most recent W-2 along with my tax return from last year along with 5 pay stubs reflecting my current salary that was increased for the new year.  Bank statements are not required in our experience.

Good luck to you!

Boy would my fiance love to chat with yours. She's been looking for another Turkish woman who has been through the interview as she is currently very nervous. Would your fiance be interested in chatting with mine on Whatsapp? Send me a message if you'd be willing to pass my fiance's number to yours.

And congrats on your approval!
