I guess I"m not entirely sure if the I-134 was sent with the petition or not. That could be ignorance on my part. So you're saying that regardless a fresh one needs to be ready for the interview anyway.

I was preparing the I-134 anyway. I just wasn't sure about the bank statement stuff above all.

The original is stale.

YMMV

I think they use the bank statements to check employment cash flow

If provided, maybe. But there is no reason to provide them if income (and documentation of it) is sufficient.

Yep

I-134’s for the department of state (embassy) not for USCIS.  USCIS will approve you if you make nothing.  Causes a lot of interview surprises.  LOL

I’d tend to agree and never understood why so much gets stapled to the I134 and not I864 (two of each for us  and I never quite got the bank letter/bank statement point) but since they ask for it in the I-134 instructions I put it all together.

The letter from my bank was really generic and other than being on their letterhead I could have photo shopped it in a few minutes myself, so it wasn't very fancy. That and a few years tax transcripts, and a few months pay stubs was all I included for the I-134 for my fiancee to take to the interview. They didn't even look at it from my understanding.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

Fiance?  Your pic makes it look like you're already married....

Hopefully that wasn't one of the photos submitted with the K1.  Both of them wearing bands/formal wear does make it appear some type of ceremony took place.

My fiancee just had her interview in Turkey on Monday and was approved, had her passport back by the same friday.   On my I-134 I only stated my income, (which was above the requirements.). I also submitted a letter from my employer and my most recent W-2 along with my tax return from last year along with 5 pay stubs reflecting my current salary that was increased for the new year.  Bank statements are not required in our experience.

Good luck to you!

For my I-134, I printed off 6 months of bank statements, that included checking and savings, even my credit card.  The bank clerk did sign for them, basically stating the statements were legit.  I also included my pay stubs covering the statements.

Thats very similar to what we do but no bank officer involved.

That's our Turkish engagement ceremony. It's the custom there. Yeah it looks like a wedding. LOL

Be careful providing any photos of it. While COs are familiar with local customs, anything that might be misinterpreted as a marriage ceremony can result in a refusal.
