We got our 2nd NOA where the USCIS was finished and forwarded our process to the NVC. The NVC notified me in an e-mail that the case was being sent to the consulate (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) and that it could take several weeks. This was on August 6th.

Today, September 27th, she has not heard anything from the Consulate. I have checked on ceac.state.gov the status and I get a pop up that says the case is ready for interview. Is she (or I) supposed to go somewhere online and schedule an interview? No instructions were given on where to go, if that were the case. I was led to believe that the Consulate would reach out to my fiance via mail and schedule an interview on her behalf.

Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for the reply. We have not gone to that link but it appears she hasn't received the PKT3-K packet either. I think that's what's needed before she can create an appointment. I did some googling for that specific packet and it looks like she needs to register and create an address. Link below:

It states:

After receiving the notification letter from the National Visa Center (NVC) which tells you that the NVC will forward the petition to our office, please immediately follow the step-by-step instructions below to create your USTravelDocs Account and register your delivery address.  The Consulate needs this information in order to deliver the Instruction Package Letter (PKT3-K) as well as other documents to you.

So I would immediately start following the instructions here. Embassies/Consulates often have their own requirements/procedures so its always good to do research on your specific consulate/embassy so you fully understand the procedure
