Filing for K3 seems to have accelerated your case

Your visa wasn’t denied.  The I-129F petition was denied in favor of the I-130.

Yes this is correct, the i-130 was approved one month after I submitted the K3 visa application

We were K3 so I am familiar with the process.

He is super excited I wasn't able to do anything special except show him a mini flag from the United States... and he knew what that meant

congrats , yes watching everybody getting approved after 9 months or more is frustrating and makes u think that that's whats gonna happen to u too when everybody is different I didn't see my approval coming soon too my I130 got approved after 3 months only

I don’t know if it helps in your case but I think that in my case it did help that all my papers had apostille confirming they are genuine while NVC was processing them.
