Received an email from the Johannesburg consulate today.

We received the packet 3 on saturday, but had all the documents ready, so just signed off the checklist and completed DS230 part1 and emailed it to the consulate. Then I faxed it, and yesterday i paid two hundred bucks to courier it via DHL to the consulate. Well they must have gotten it because i have my interview letter in my hand!

Neurotic, i know, but i just want to get to the part where i have my visa in my hand and my new life which has been suspended for 10 months, 6 of those months spent waiting for approval of our petition.

My interview date is 28 June 2007!!!! Yeah. And if all goes well i will be on my way to the US the first week of July. I cant hardly wait, we have a wedding to attend in Alabama on July 7th, so that would be great if there was no further hiccups!

At least it is only 3 weeks that i have to spend stressing until the interview! :blush:

Removal of conditions:

I751 sent to CSC via express mail with signature request 12/08/09

Infopass appointment to get one year extension stamped into passport 12/14/09 Issued, no problems

Cheque cashed 12/10/09

I797 Notice of action dated 12/09/2009 received 12/16/09

I797 C Notice of action dated 12/17/2009 received 12/22/09

Biometrics appointment 01/14/2010 11:am

"Touched" 01/15/2010

Email received - Card production ordered 03/22/10

Approval letter received 03/22/10, Decision date 03/18/10

03/24/2010 Approval email

03/27/2010 Card received!

10/25/07: EAD Approved

01/23/08: Interview = APPROVED

02/02/08: Green Card received...10 day turn around, not bad!!!

Removing Conditions

11/12/09: Mailed to CSC!

11/13/09: Arrives at CSC!

11/16/09: NOA1

11/18/09: Check Cashed!

12/14/09: Biometrics

01/07/10: Card Production Ordered (APPROVED)
