I believe Vermont is the right place.👍

I am wondering,

So when I send I-485 package to Vermont.

What is the process?

Will they adjudicate? Or transfer it to my local USCIS?

And I guess this time I will pay all the fees? Right?

I have another question to put on a table 🙂

I know that VAWA applicants can request a fee waiver for I-485 and I-765.

I got my first EAD card after my VAWA was approved, of course without paying and even applying for it.

Recently I've sent a renewal to Vermont for my EAD c-31, and I've included cashier check with appropriate fee. I'VE Thought IT WOULD BE FAIR :)☺️

Now, when I will be sending a new I-485 for the second time 🙄 and I've paid all the fees the first time, for me and my daughter the amount of money we gotta pay is too much.

For me being a single mom is no kidding.😕

On the other hand I do not want to slow the whole process with my waiver as it's slow as it is...

How you guys did? Any recommendations, please.😘

I don't think requesting a fee waiver slows your application, and I recommend you to do the fee waiver  now since will be more harder after December 2, with the new update. If they denied it you have no choice to paid the fee, So i will sent it all together. Best of luck. :)

for vawa category c31, fee is required unless you are attaching a fee waiver. If you are applying on your based i485, no fee is required so please attach a pending I485 receipt with it

Hello everyone,

I send my form 1 360 in about 50 days ago. I received a NOA afterwards. I just saw the status change that they have send an RFE.  I didn't expect that to happen that first. I am applying from abroad. I am wondering if this is Normal to receive an RFE less than 2 months after sending the application. I guess I just have to wait to see what the Rfe is for.

usually in order to establish a prima facie, some documents are missing related to goof faith marriage, background or cruelty.

Hi Everyone, I understand that it is okay to have empathy for each other and be supportive as much as we can be. However, I have noticed someone's narrative  on here has been disjointed . I am just advising that we all be CAREFUL especially if someone messages us privately and tries to be friends with us.

We should avoid being victims twice. God bless us all.

I agree with you. However I dont feel comfortable sharing my personal details as I don't know anything about the person sitting behind the computer. We all are a victim of violence and we all have a similar situation i-e CRUELTY. we have gone through with such a tough time that it is difficult to believe others now. so I agree

Hi Everyone,  I applied in Aug2018 , still waiting,  NO RFE , No Prima Facie , basically nothing,

My lawyer told me , that if I'm not approved by January,  we may go through litigation,

Does anyone know how that supposed to work  ?

Thanks.

PATIENCE is the key. I am Dec 17 filer and still waiting for my approval. so relax your time will come soon.. don't make your case difficult. Vawa cases takes time

Hello all,
I know this must have been answers before. Please when is the appropriate time to file form l-824 follow join?
Is it when petition I-360 is approved and you have the approval letter for it, or when the green card interview is approved and one has the approval letter or green card proper?
Kindly advise.

Your GC has to be approved as you need to submit copy of green card and approval letter with paperwork.

Hello everyone,  I'm new here, I've gone through the whole part 16 thread, and I must say you guys are doing a great job.

I found this forum a bit late, I didn't know I could go to the interview myself with Vawa application or to ask the officer to hold my I485. As it now, my I-485 has been denied, (not up to 33days though), and I have read on here that it's complicated when it has been denied before filing VAWA.

Please any of your advise on what next to do will be appreciated.  Thanks

Good to have you here😊 anyways I believe you can file for them to reopen the previous i485 or you can file a new one based on a pending i360. Lots of people here have been in that peculiar situation but still made it through..so don't let nothing stop you!
