Hello there

I want to have a sample on how to apply for I 765 work authorization and I 131 travel document extension or renewal?

Can anyone provide me with a sample?

ย

If you want to apply for EAD/AP you should have an i485 pendingย

you will need :

form i765 for employment authorizationย

form i131 for travel documentย

copy of your i485& i360

4 passport photosย

a copy of your previous EAD/AP if you have oneย

no filling fees ..

And sendย the package to vermont service center ย

:)ย

Hello everyone!ย
i filled my case in April 2018, and I received my ead card with c31 October 17 2019. I never received approved letter for my i360, but my attorney said I am. Now I need to wait for interview. I filled I485 with i360. I was wondering how long does it take to be called to interview?ย
also I applied to renew my ead and ap card in September. (C09P), now I Received ead c31 but without ap. Will they send ap separately? Thank you in advance ๐ŸŒธ

Do you got any RFE or straight approval letter after 18 monthsย

Guys please knock off the back and forth. It would be a shame for @TBoneTXย to have to ban people from this thread! Lets not put him in that position.ย

Several bickering posts and residual comments about the bickered-about issue have been removed. ย Please heed the quote above.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hey guys need yourย advice,

my lawyer and i had agreement but recently he wants to charge me more money.

i already paid him 2,230$ i did agree to pay extra fee on translation (around the 18$ per page) but he wants to charge me extra on the shipping via Fedex as well!!! Around the 60$!! So basically he charge me total amount of 3000$ (this is only on i360 with ย nothing more and after approval i will need to pay extra 2000$ to file i485 etc) i feel made, like he is taking advantage of my situation!ย

He didnt do nothing!! I obtain by myself my abuser birth certificate, police clearance report from both home country and US, the translation was bad, like they use google translate, and i fix it! It is normal?!? ย What to do? Its crazy!! He just drinking my money but not really did something to improve my case( didn't even guide me how to write my declaration or witness declaration)ย

what do you think?ย

It's disheartening how they want to make the most and do the least! Your lawyer is supposed to be helping you and not letting you handle stuff by yourself! That been said..most people pay more than $3000 for the i360 to their attorneys๐Ÿ’ also for the i485 is this including the fees for the petition or just your attorney's filing fee? That will determine if he's trying to be fraudulent!

He charged me now 3000$ only for i-360 (filling from abroad) but after approval i will need to pay extra 2000$ (not included USCIS fee) its seems to me like he took all the money for himself ( I neededย to pay notary 4 times around 50$ for signature so this was extra 200$ ) he also recently mentioned that if i will need waiver for overstay i will need to pay 5000$ more!!ย

what do you think? I feel like this is crazy but im not really familiar with all this process.. :(

Ok now I see he's definitely taking advantage of you my dear! Oh how sad! Notary is like $2 per document! JESUS!!! He's made a fortune off you!๐Ÿ˜ณ ask him if the $2000 is both i485 fees and his filing fees..so he doesn't pull a fast one on you again! Keep your eye open for another attorney with repute and some integrity..you might be needing one!๐Ÿ’
