Hi guys.

I contacted my congressman to ask them to change my address about 3 weeks ago. I’m in palm beach county FL

They were able to change my address. They also said my i485 is still pending at NBC and that I should receive an answer within 60

I’m not sure what type of answer though. Any thoughts?

thanks in advance to all ♥️

Greencard perhaps😊💁 or you could wait to find out... Most likely a transfer to your local office/address change confirmation...

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well. Long time reader and I decided to join today. Today marks 18 months since I filled for vawa and today I received a notice for Request for additional evidence. They received my vawa package on April 24 2018. I will see what they are asking for when I receive it and I will let you guys know. I pray we all get good news at the end of this journey

If I may ask, what do you think you’re asked for now after 18 months ? Did you submit every requirement ?

Yes, I submitted a fbi background check. I lived in two different states in the past 3 years. Do you think they need a clearance for each state?

Let the forum know when you receive your RFE and we’ll all know what they need. 18 months is a long time, I believe after you send what they need you’ll receive your approval. If you’ve lived in two different states for the past 3 years they’ll need a BC for those states . USCIS, may ask for anything, prove of abuse, evidence of good faith marriage, etc

18 months is quite normal for Vawa this time, I will hit 17 months next month and I haven't heard anything only received second Prima Facie on August 2019. I filed  my case in June 2018 is so frustrating. My lawyer even told me the USCIS is being sued for having this unnecessary processing delays.  I Research and is true http://immigrationimpact.com/2019/06/20/foia-request-delays-uscis-ice/#.XbIEPlVKiM8

18 months is actually mind blowing not forgetting those that have had to wait for 24 months . I will state it here that most of these officers are quite lazy, I’ve heard of a case(AOS marriage )  where by a couple went for an interview and heard nothing for 15 months after the first interview and when he did an info pass, he was told by the supervisor that the said officer transferred to another field office and didn’t transfer this case to the supervisor to make a final decision, the supervisor profusely apologized and asked for an updated medical and two days later they were approved and the guy received his green card ( 10 years )
