I called my congresswoman .. and will see what she’ll do .. surprisingly i called USCIS before i call her they told me nothing can be done at this point .. i cannot even apply for I-131 replacement !

I think you should write a notarized letter to Vermont explaining the situation, and send the photo copy front and back of your EAD as proof is not a combo card, and copy of your AP approval notice receipt. 

Ask them if they can please sent your  AP document. Otherwise you may need to sent back the EAD card so they can produce a new one due to the mistake and it can take sometime.

Is best to requested the AP document. Also contact your congress person to see if they can sent them EAD copy to Vermont explaning the situation and they can process everything faster for you.

I contacted my congresswoman a will see what can she do in this situation because they are really acting crazy .. they’re refusing to send me the AP document because they already sent me combo card .. which is not a combo card ..

Yes, I hope the congress person sent the copy of the EAD and they can at least issue AP document and not replace the EAD

Hello my dears,

 

I feel so bad😩😨

I need your advise.

My VAWA case was approved on March 18, 2019.

My attorney never followed up on my previous I-485 form and assumed that it was pending with USCIS.

It appeared that my I-485 was denied long time ago before I even filed I-360, and until today  I didn't know it was denied.😓😪

Basically, I've wasted 7 months not knowing what was going on.......  

Now based on my approved I-360 I need to file a new I-485 for myself and my daughter.

My attorney now is asking me to pay him $5000 more so he can file it for us.🥶

It feels like he is taking advantage of me, on top of his negligence. 

I don't want to pay him and decided to file myself.

Please, if someone filed on your own I-485 could you let me know the process and reassure me that I will be fine filling it on my own.

This is sad !! You can file by your self don’t give him money you can do it .. i gave my lawyer 200$ to file combo card renewal for me and now Iam stuck because he don’t care ..

I'm so so sorry about this development! Please don't pay that terrible attorney anything! It's something you can file by yourself! I just told someone earlier that most of these attorneys bring more setback than progress!!! They are so nonchalant! It's really sad! I'm sure Sandra will have something valuable to say to you!😞💞

Ok cool because USCIS regard these public officers a little more than they do attorneys. Everytime my senator calls they sure answer! Push this issue through them..let's see how it goes!👍

Congresswoman called me back .. she talk to them and they told her yes we made a mistake and we will send her a new card by Friday !! And she will receive it by Tuesday on Wednesday the latest ..
