I applied through VAWA January 2018 and just got a request for evidence last month. I gave them everything they requested and more. Does anyone know how long I should expect to wait for a reply now? I sincerely hope it's not another 21 months!

To show I'm a person of good moral character. So I sent proof of my criminal record or lack thereof, 5 written affidavits, and a written reply from myself and pictures.

Hello, you are almost there. they received my RFE response on June 25 and card production on July 31 I heard from them in 5 weeks. You will see card production in a few days or week. and approved on september 25th. God be with you.

You didn’t send the police clearance certificate from your concerned counties and from your home country in the first instance.

 

the second thing is what’s the proof you send for the abuse do you have some police report or the court restraining order

For proof of abuse I sent police reports and arrest reports. 

For good moral character I first only sent criminal clearance from my home country. They asked for more evidence and specified for my time spent here in the US, so I sent criminal clearance for my time in the US.

Do you have the psychological evaluation etc you sent with your VAWA packet.

No I never sent that. I had never even heard about it until I looked on forums like this. They have never asked me for one or recommended I get one.
