(Even for our sex life he needs his father’s guidance)

3. I didn’t work since I moved to his father’s house, I don’t have money, if I want buy snacks I use my credit card, his father paid only 2 months and stop. So for the next month I need to borrow money to a friend to help me pay my credit card bills. They refused  to have a joint account, while we need that as one of our evidence. I don’t want his $500,000.00 saving, but at least please show his responsible as a husband.

4. They limit and even stop my access to my own life, especially my spiritual needs. I feel like they only wanna fulfill their needs. I’m not their doll. I guess 5 months was enough for me to be silent. I want to have my own freedom again.

5. I know it’s hard to find any evidence in my case, all I want is a new life. I don’t want him, his money, or anything related to him, I want to leave everything behind, is it possible?? It’s hard for me to meet with him or his Dad for while. I need a time to recover.... Please pray for me guys, since I have no status in this country... Thank you so much again. God bless us all!

@sandranj I am expecting to receive my EAD combo card today i am following the tracking number USCIS provided to me but I resumed my work since Wednesday because my EAD/AP combo approved last thursday. My employer needs to fill another I-9 or he can use previous I-9?

and one more question .. if a person files i360 concurrently with I485 .. does he have the right to appeal Vawa denial or no ?? 

Once denied VAWA the person will receive the AOS denial right awa,y and the person has 30 days to file a motion or appeal.The chance to have an appeal granted is the 1%, it's better to refile. The motion to reopen is a request  to review the decision based ON NEW FACTS.

Oh wait you filed Vawa twice? All you need to do is to write to Vermont service center and ask to cancel one of your petition.

I am wondering if I re-send another VAWA 485 package to Chicago will they give me receipt right away? I know they will eventually transfer to VSC. All I need is a I-485 receipt I-797C ASAP. Did anyone here try it out this way?????

 

Apparently Chicago lockbox is known for its high efficiency they give receipt within 72 hours. I really don't mind pay $1225 multiple times.

 

 

It's probably not a wise idea. Can you do this? absolutely, and Chicago might take 10 to 60 days to send you the receipt. Chicago will take 20 to 90 days to transfer the file to VSC and then you have to cancel the previous I-485.

Yes you need to follow up with a psychiatrist and take some psychological sessions as well. It will help you to divert your mind from your past traumatic memories. Also, if you have any friends/family who witnessed your inlaws dominating nature on you, you can ask for their help to write an affidavit. And submit all the proofs of previous domestic violence your husband was involved. These evidences will make your case stronger. Also, your personal affidavit but do not write what you mentioned here like you afraid of trail, about adultery movies because these does not include extreme cruelty

Thanks for the advice. Yes, I wanted to write a letter.
Need to ask just cancel one of them? or ask to combine two into one.
And should I write to them in a letter why I cancel so that they know?

As I  said before they will NOT put/combine your two VAWA cases, and you must withdraw one of the cases, but of course keep the case that you submitted  ALL proof of abuse, good faith marriage and good moral character. When you withdraw the case explain why you are doing this and DO NOT use online translator to translate the letter.

Hello everybody! 
 

hope everyone is well. As you may remember, my EAD (C-9) RENEWAL, along with initial advance parole application was sent to Chicago on 9/26/19. 
I have since received the notice of action on both with new case numbers and they are using my previous biometrics. I did not pay any additional fees as my I-485, which I paid for in full, is pending. 
 

I also sent the AR-11 to change my address on the I-485. 

question: 

 

1. when shall I ask for an info pass to make sure address was changed and what is the current processes of scheduling info-pass. 
 

2. When shall I contact the congressperson to check if my EAD renewal and advance parole applications are in the correct place ( Vermont)

 

thanks you  

 

p.s my EAD is valid till 3/20. So it’s not super urgent but enough to make me want to smooth this out sooner rather than later.

Write a notarized letter to the VSC to change your address. Ar 11 isnt for vawa applicant as your abuser may be the one trying to change your address.

I dont see the need asking Congressman or woman to check where your application is. Use Congress person when u need to. Dont raise alarms when there is not need for one. Regards.

Omg! What where you thinking that made you file twice? You wont be denied tho because of that but isnt there a question that ask if you have filed another petition? I dont remember what the forms look like but let's me mindful of compulsive behaviours which is typically of an abuser and not a victim
