In my understanding, C31 means your case has been adjudicated and approved! The status probably hasn't updated online..it takes time sometimes..but you can ask your congressman to inquire as to the reason for the delay..I did that as well..and USCIS assured my senator it will update which it did about three weeks later!👍

Good morning VJ Members, i want to apologies in advance if that is not the appropriate place to ask please correct me if that's the case or delete my post.  My questions is regarding applying for  Fafsa on approved Vawa but still waiting on interview or my green card to hopefully to be issued. I want to better myself but i don't make enough and i was wondering if i can apply and if i can how and whats the process if someone has done it before please PM me.

Hello.
I received a response from USСIS by mail.
I have a number from them.
There are no more papers, it is said that if documents are needed they will be requested.
Does this mean my case is accepted for consideration?

I just started to prepare a more complete letter from myself ... Now, probably, it will no longer need to be sent again?

Wow! Good to hear this! It sounds like an NOA yes receipt! but of course we wouldn't know for sure if we can't see it..if you know how to paste here after blocking your details then awesome!👍 get your documents in order as you're likely to receive a RFE..from everything you've said so far..don't relax..get as much evidence as you can!

I have one question -  3 weeks ago I sent my EAD for renewal and I still haven’t received any receipts that they received my application. This is the first time I am renewing it so am I supposed to receive some receipts or they just gonna mail new EAD after couple of months? Thanks

You'll get an NOA! Mine took 4weeks to arrive! And EAD takes more than a couple of months to process!👍

Mine toke 87 days. Vermont Service Center

why dont you involve your congressman ? EAD C31 means automatic approval correct?

The C31 is usually sent out following i360 approval so yeah..also I've read early threads about folks not having their status updated online..still got their Greencards inspite of this..

I-797 is a notice of action. it should have your receipt number. all you need to do is to follow your case on USCIS website for updates
