I want to clarify. Psychological assessment of personality. Which specialist should make such an assessment? Psychologists or psychiatrist?
I am looking in Russia, but no one has heard of this, or they say that this is a secret between the doctor and the patient.

Thank you.

It’s done by a Psychologist. Explain to them that you were abused mentally, physically and emotionally by your husband in USA and you need a psychological evaluation for VAWA(they can look it up themselves on the internet. ) any good and qualified psychologist should know what a mental evaluation is and what it should entail.

Also I have another question. It is very strange, but believe me, this is important to me!
Should I include in my documents (photo and correspondence) that my husband is engaged in black magic. I don’t know if he’s sick or true ... There are a lot of bad books in the house. He said that he would watch at night and find out who was helping me ... Helped there! And much of what he said is true. Which he simply cannot know.
I understand that this explanation can harm me! not for him.
Nevertheless, I ask for advice. What I should  doing?

Mine wrote me a 12 page evaluation. Starting from my family upbringing, how I was raised, how I met my spouse, the good and bad side of our relationship, what attracted me to my spouse. How the abuse started and who I confided in, then stating the abuse have caused me PTSD and depression including financially .

my therapist also did the same. She did 12 page also stating how many times I attended counseling prior to filing vawa .

Glory to God, I have  been approved for Citizenship, 3 years after getting my greencard through VAWA. mY journey to citizenship is almost done, just waiting for citizenship oath ceremony.

My experience has taught me a lot and I want you all to know that VAWA cases are very complex and many attoneys don't know about VAWA. Also, many immigration officers don't know about VAWA. I learned everything about VAWA from sandranj forum and from other guys and ladies here. I am a man by the way.

One thing VAWA applicants must know:

1. you must be able to substantiate your abuse claim with evidence no mater how little.

2. Many attorneys are ignorant about VAWA. one time my case was delaying, I went to an attorney who told me to CALL USCIS and ask why the delay. I was like OMg, she don't know that VAWA cases cant be discussed over telephone.

3. Also many IO don't know nothing about VAWA. One time I went to their office to check about my case and the IO advised me to change my address ONLINE on uscis website am like OMG, this guy don't know . You cant change VAWA address online you have to send a notarized letter to the VSC to do that.

4. During my citizenship interview, the IO said he was gonna deny me citizenship because I was given a fiancée visa to enter America and I married my ex before I entered America. I explained to him that I married my ex  a cultural way not legal way after my visa was issued and also married her in court in America. he argued that they recognized the cultural marriage. Then I told him that for VAWA beneficiaries, it DOES NOT MATTER how u came to America. even if u were smuggled into America or crossed the border it does not matter under VAWA. he was like, ok let me research it. He checked and found I was damn right and I got approved. To God be the glory.

Refer to this forum for advise and be patient. God bless those still starting the process and help us to be better spouses to our future spouse

Amen, congratulations to you. Please if i may ask, how long did it take for ur vawa to be approved?

Dont write anything about black magic or so. You can try writing it in a different language that your husband’s gathering is not good or something like he stalks you, spy on you. Change the words but dont use words like black magic or holy books

You can write it only if you are saying that he used it in a way to intimidate you, or scare you.

Thank you so much @sandranj for your help ..

but iam confused here ! I will travel on advance parole based on i485 conected to vawa ! My understanding is when the vawa gets denied the 485 gets denied right away , and then the EAD+AP card become null and i cannot use it to return back within the 30 days to appeal !

or the 485 will not be denied until the 30 days are over and i didn’t file for appeal !?
thank you

When the AOS is denied the AP becomes null and void, but the time to enforce the Law will start after 30 days because the person has the right to appeal or file a motion. Does the CBP officer know about this rule? well, unfortunately not all officers know the Law. There is always a  risk when the officer sees in the computer for example that the AOS was denied and he/she might not allow you to reenter, that being said you need to know the risk and evaluate if you want to travel or not.

USCIS can care less if your  husband is involved with satanism, black magic or any dark forces. Please don't ruin your petition mentioned about these things ok.
