Eligibility to apply without paying the $410 since you already have a pending i485! This is how it's supposed to be..but we keep hearing strange stories about applications been sent back and accepted only after proper fees were paid..it's bizzare..but like I said, it's never happened to me!💁

You mean application were rejected even with the fee waiver?

I believe the explanation will be that they are probably not doing something right...because USCIS clearly states it that if you have a pending i485 you are eligible to renew for free! So stop worrying about other people and focus on your own application. You should be fine!👍

Usually the fee is $410 biometrics fee is $85 bringing it to $495...I supposed you may not be needing biometrics for now...but the thing is if you have a pending i485..you are eligible for renewal without fees! I've never paid for renewal ever! Guess everyone's story is different...💁

True, everyone’s story is different. Thank you dear

My vawa case is still pending, I got my EAD from my i-485 case which is on hold right now.So am I still in the c9 category or c31?

C09. Dont put c31. When i apply for renewal in Dec 2018, i used c31 instead of c09 and it has been 9 months my ead is still pending. Left my job as well 😞

Your EAD becomes null, once I-485 is denied, I think your employer did not verify your EAD eligibility with USCIS E-verify system. This may interfere with your AOS(hope will not) You can verify if your EAD is valid or not with USCIS E-Verify Page, you created an account and they will verify your identity with some questions I check mine already, here is the link: https://www.e-verify.gov/mye-verify/self-check

Also applying for a Fee Waiver does not slow down your application process, requesting fee waiver is very common with Vawa petitioner.

Interfere with next AOS eligibilty. That's another risk now. Seems like I am getting into new hauls of problems. What should I do now?

Hi dear..my first logical thought sans research is that your friend should get back into the country before the document expires! I don't know anything about renewing AP from outside the U.S.!😏 but I do think it's wise to get back in here asap so as not to get locked out!💁 best to be safely on ground before it expires.everything can be done from this end better than outside...you just never know..overstaying the AP is violating the conditions in which it was given! #Grave consequences! 👎

Here's what I just found..I hope it helps!👇👇👇

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has recently updated its policy regarding overseas travel for applicants with a pending Form I-131 Application for Travel Document. As of March 2019, USCIS will not deny a pending renewal of an application for advance parole because of an individual’s travel overseas, so long as the applicant has a current, unexpired advance parole document, and so long as that document is still valid through the date of the applicant’s return to the U.S. A pending Form I-131 will be denied, however, if the applicant does not have a valid advance parole document when he or she leaves the United States, or if an advance parole document that was valid expires while the applicant is traveling outside of the country. Learn about travel while an application for advance parole is pending.

First take a deep breath. Ask your employer asap to remove you from payroll because you are not eligible to work. At the end of the year, ask your employer to amend your w2’s and reissue you your w2’s until your ead expired. The payroll company who does payroll for your employer can amend your w2.

second, if your eligibility of work arises during your AOS interview, please be honest and let the IO know what actually happened. Vawa petitioners can easily do their AOS even if they worked unauthorized but you need to be honest.

Hey Fishy 🙂 i would advise her to be back to US before her combo card expired. I think she can apply for another i131 while outside usa because in form I131 there is a section where you they can deliver travel document outside us address. But dont take risk

I believe VAWA petitioners are forgiven only if it was done before VAWA application..I think Sandra has addressed this issue not long ago...one has to be cautious..especially in this political dispensation!💁

I do not know how to prove that he is crazy ... If I tell everything that was, no court will believe me. and decide that I'm crazy
And I don’t know what to do.
Yes, I'm afraid of him, even in Russia

because I dont know what I should doing...

From my experience i can only tell you that, be brave and don't believe what your abuser is saying, for the past 4 years i was living in fear and stress because every now and then i was contacted by my abuser, and i had to file multiple restraining orders and even when he was saying that the ICE will be called on my or the documents will be send to the USCIS stating that  i'm the abuser and a fraught or that i have committed a crime in which non of that is true, and that the main goal in his life was to deport me put me in jail and take what ever he can and that i will have to pay him alimony  and that he knows people at USCIS and they will do what ever they can to denied my case and deport me and that my time is coming and i will regret and will suffer as much as possible non of that happen and finally after 4 years i got an approval on my I360. Even tho that i don't know what will happen at the actual interview i realize that USCIS is protecting your information and wont take in to consideration anything that my the abuser will say or send to them. It toke me a very long time to realize that even when sandranj and other people from this forum were telling me to relax i was unable to because i know how harmfully he can be and what is he capable of doing. So just try to be calm and to fix yourself and your dependent.
