Hello
I again ask for advice who can know
My husband (divorce is not over yet)
sent me an e-mail (audio), when I insulted him and cursed. He himself provoked me to this.
He said that he would send this record to the court and also to the USCIS
Can it be bad for my Case?

Thank you.

Hey Nataly!😊I know it's not easy to be calm in this situation..but it will do you more good! You should take out time and read extensively about VAWA then you would be more equipped, especially as you have refused to get a representative! USCIS will NOT take into account whatever your spouse sends or threatens to send! All you have to do is focus on meeting the requirements..you will WIN!!! 🏆💞🙌

yep...

@digonyc has been waiting for 12 months... I had directed the question at them.

@digonyc, what is your field office and did you get a transfer notice for i-485?

Hi guys. My case was sent to Vermont. Yes, my i-485 notice was tranferred about 12 months ago.

Yes @digonyc if you can please mention your field office here in NYC..it will help us identify a small pattern. But it's common knowledge that N.Y. N.Y. office is a nightmare! Followed by Brooklyn..💁

My case was sent to vermont office.

Do you mean your VAWA is approved after that your I-485 was sent to Vermont

or

your I-485 was sent to Vermont 12 months ago and then you got VAWA approval?

🤣 it’s a word twist lol

You can find your Local Field Office here.

Ah oki... now you just have to wait till you get your interview notice. You can find out where your I-485 is sitting with the help of your congressperson I believe. Once the I-485 is transferred to your local field office from Vermont, and you are outside processing time for the field office, then you can inquire

I do not know. I am working in a local store and they are fine with that.  Now, you have told me. So, I am getting more nervous. What should I do? Is there any way I can check the status of my WP?

Your EAD becomes null, once I-485 is denied, I think your employer did not verify your EAD eligibility with USCIS E-verify system. This may interfere with your AOS(hope will not) You can verify if your EAD is valid or not with USCIS E-Verify Page, you created an account and they will verify your identity with some questions I check mine already, here is the link: https://www.e-verify.gov/mye-verify/self-check

Also applying for a Fee Waiver does not slow down your application process, requesting fee waiver is very common with Vawa petitioner.

Don't worry. You do not need to include that with your package.

Hello Guys,

Undelivered Combo Card

I need some advice. My combo card was approved in July  but sent to the wrong address so I never received it. USPS said is was returned to sender. I sent a notarized letter to USCIS for a replacement card or a return of the card which was sent back to them . I followed this up with a letter to my congressman. I received a letter  from USCIS stating that they have not received the returned card and that I would need to file a fresh application. This does not make sense since application has already been approved and after almost a year waiting for the card. Also they claim that I did not update my address but I did that more than 6 months ago and received an acknowledgement from USCIS. Please what's the best way to go about this? I do not want to lose my job.

Thank you.

I think you need to contact Ombudsman Case Assistance https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance You updated your address, and have confirmation from USCIS that you did, Is their mistake... Also let your congressperson also handle the confirmation where USCIS did received the change of address and they confirm it.

Also tried to update your address with USPS as well and sign up for informed deliver.

You will have to file a I-90 to ask for replacement card. You can do that online. There is no fee but you will have to do biometrics again.

I-90 form it can only be use to Renew or Replace a Green Card. Cannot be use for to replace an EAD... :)
