That  im guessing  3 weeks the notice where they confirm they have it .. but my renewal took about  4 months to get the card

I am divorced and i also just had my interview on monday and my case got delayed because I didnt take my divorce decree they asked me for it

Hello all ,

My lawyer told me that he did not submit I-765 on my I-360. So how can I get a EAD card? My case has been submitted for 7 months. I really need a EAD work to work. Please help ..thanks !

You will get ead under c31 once your vawa is approved. If you have submitted your i485, you can apply for Ead under c09. But c09 usually takes 3 to 6 months to get approved

I360 takes quite a while to be processed! If you really want to work and you're the spouse of a USC, it's not too late to file for i765! Your lawyer has to file i485 alongside i765 for you to be eligible for the C9 work permit! It should take anywhere from 4-6 months to be processed! If you do not file it like I've described, the only way you'll get a work permit is when your case is approved months down the line..you'll be sent a C31 work permit!👍

I need to send my new G28's.. (4th time as if now probably because my attorney is keep changing location). I have approved vawa but haven't received approval letter yet only c31 EAD. do i still need to send g28 tio Vermont?

I have the exact same PD 05/18/2018. My second Prima Facie expires on 12/15/2019 which is approximately 3.5weeks from now. No RFE so far and not praying for one though 😆😊. I applied for EAD renewal to NBC instead of vermont and its been 6.5 months with no updates (EAD C09 processing time at NBC now is 5 to 7 months. So i am patiently waiting). I am also waiting for either another Prima Facie or Vawa approval before 12/15/2019. Will keep you all updated. This forum has really opened my mind to a lot of things. No one can pay for all the knowledge that we have gained in here. Its priceless. Thank you all.  And good luck in the struggle.

Hello to you. If you had a pending I-485 you can apply for  I-765 under the category C-09. If you didn't submit anything with your spouse you have to wait until your I-360 is approved. I filled i-360, I-765, I-485 together. When I get my I-360  approved my EAD category C-31 was mailed. And I-765 is denied because part of the approval of I-360 is the issuance of EAD. Therefor,  I-765 application is unnecessary and be denied. Take heart and wait for your approval. I wish you have a pending I-485 if not I'm sorry my dear I know the pain of waiting unemployed. I waited 2 years. God be with you, Protect your heart.

i applied for i765 on december 2018 under c31. since I already have c31 so they might close my case as well.. @Lola_lalo our experiences are similar 😉

Dear house 

I have a very important question even if your VAWA is approved or not you can still apply for the renewal of I-765 and i131 advance parole since your I-485 is pending why USCIS will decline your I-765 and I-131 under c09 category ie green card pending.

its sound strange because I know lot of people who has two cards one under c31 VAWA approved and the other one work permit and advance parole under category c09 category.
